Since we're coming to the end of an era, I thought somebody should come up with an All-Time Indians Team.
I tried to include the players best season, and even a potential batting order.
LF Joe Jackson - 1913 .460 OBP Like starting the game with a runner on 1st.
SS Omar Vizquel - 1999 Frankly the best SS I ever saw.
DH Albert Belle - 1995 50 HR, 52 2B
1B Jim Thome - 2002 52 HR
3B Al Rosen - 1953 AL MVP
RF Rocky Colavito - 1959 42 HR 14 A Don't knock the Rock.
2B Nap Lajoie - 1906 10 WAR Season
C Jim Heagan Started 12 years, 2 World Series
CF Kenny Lofton - 1993 70 SB .325 BA
Bench:
Manny Ramirez
Roberto Alomar
Starting Pitchers
Bob Feller - Because he's the GOAT
Louis Tiant - 1968 1.60 ERA
Gaylord Perry 1972 29 CG Cy Young Award
Sam McDowell - 1970 20-12 2.92 ERA 304 K
Cory Kluber 2 Cy Young Awards
Spot starter - Satchel Paige - Cuz I wanted to put him on.
Manager - Terry Francona - Could've, should've won in 2016.
Note: Some of these old-timers might have played before the Indians name, but those other names were so short lived I made them honorary Indians.
Who were some of your favorite players?
