Worth noting that boys 14-15 year old soccer teams have clobbered the U.S. women's national national team.
So the answer is "never" unless it is a stunt or league mandated. However, women have the right to play in those leagues if they are good enough, which is why the whole idea of pay equity is so bogus. Why should they be paid the same as players who are clearly so much better? Want more money, be a better player. And if you can't be a better player because of limited athletic ability, then join the club of the 99.9% of males who also lack that level of athleticism, and don't get paid NBA money either.
At least women athletes who don't measure up to NBA (or even G League) levels of ability have the option to play in the WNBA, from which males are barred.
