We have had a lot in our time?

Who do you guys think? My pick is Bingo!

Saw what you want, but somehow World made those short shorts look good. :chuckle:

World B Free was the Sexton-like bridge to competitiveness for us. A walking bucket as a undersized guard built like a tank who had the greenlight to shoot shoot and shoot more for terrible Cavs teams after Stepien and Musselman tore our team apart.

This picture here was a PR stunt where they flew him to the coliseum and had him walk a red carpet so he could sign his new contract.

Wayne Embry took the job the next year and said no way in hell am I building a contender around a 6'2 scorer/ball stopper

It's not 'somehow', let's not beat around the bush here: he makes it look good because of his sculpted powerful thighs, muscly frame and bulging package. Even a completely straight, cis-norm manly man like me can see this.

World B Free was my first Cavs crush, loved the guy. But in no way did he lead to winning basketball. He was very entertaining and a great competitor, but he was a 6'1 shooting guard who never met a shot he didnt like.

I know this wont be popular, but those that are in love with Sexton and think he is a starting sg or can learn to be a pg some day, are just not old enough or knowledgeable enough to remember World B Free. Love the guy, but Embry was right, you build a winner with defense and efficient offense.

Depends in what context....if its soup its JR Smith hands down.
JMHO!!!!
I don’t think JR is even in the top five of the Cavs greatest shooters (AC, Price, World B, Synder, Langdon, Mo Williams come to mind first) as he was too streaky.

Wait, who in the hell throws a better bowl of Soup than JR?

My first Cavs crush is my second favorite shooter of all time Mark Price.

My personal favorite Cavs shooter came out to Twinsburg Community Center along with John Battle and personally critiqued my jumpsuit for me at 7 yrs old.

Eggs taught me to get the ball off my palm, focus on finger placement and flick my wrist where I want the ball to go when I get to the top of my jump/release

I teach kids what Ehlo taught me to this day

I mean the Cavs used to employ all 5 of the greatest shooters of all time between Donyell Marhsall and Damon Jones (at 4 different times in his life). Not sure how this is even a debate. Heck, they even had the 6th best guy with Brodric Thomas

Mark Price. Bingo wasn’t as good a shooter as Campy.

Bingo was expansion drafted twice (1970 & 1980) - both times from San Diego (Rockets & Clippers).

Tell the kids more about Campy being a 25ppg college scorer and best shooter on those teams who never started because Fitch convinced him to instead be the greenlight scorer on the best bench unit in the league with he, AC and Nate on those miracle teams
