Who would you trade first - Luke or Sasha?

Which one of these guys would you trade first- Sasha or Luke?

They are very similar players and I am thinking one of them will be shipped so that we can fill some of our more critical needs. With LJ & LH both logging 40 minutes a game there just won't be enough minutes available for them both to be effective. If it were up to me I would keep Sasha and move Luke. Sasha is 2 years younger. Sasha has 2 years of NBA expperience, Luke has almost none. Luke is also coming off a serious back surgery and no one knows what the short or long term effects will be.

I like them both, but I also think they are redundant.

luke is an all around player.. i liked all the defense talk from the summer league reviews.. plus the unknown factor and the anticipation of him on the court is exciting...

he's a better shooter already...

luke is the player that i'm most excited about....

I like sasha - he should have started at 2 guard down the stretch, but I have to think Luke has more upside.

Right now, i think Sasha has more trade value, being that he's actually shown something at the NBA level. I'd say they're both about even in my book, with a slight edge towards keeping Luke. He put up 40 something against igoudala in college, i like that offensive burst. Pavs seems to me to be a poor mans Hughs, which we've already got. Which ever could get us more in a trade, i would trade him.

I would trade Pavlovic first.

Sasha is mostly a spot up shooter at this point whereas Luke isn't quite the spot up shooter Sasha is, but his all-around game is much better.

Toss up really, you can't pick which one they are basically the same player but Sasha is younger. Whichever gets us the better deal or the pieces we need. With that said i'm not voting because it depends which one has more stock.

I'd trade Sasha before Luke.

I'd rather just keep both of them for now though. I'd only trade either if a great offer came along. Both do have talent and because of their age and inexperience right now their trade value isn't at it's highest. I don't believe in just trading away young talent whether there's lots of depth at their positions or not.

I say trade Luke first if we have to trade one of them to improve the team. Pavs have played much more profesional basket in both US and on international level. This summer he is in Europe prepairing for European championship. He is very used to adopt to play in different "team concepts" which I believe is what Mike Brown and Ferry wants the Cavs to do now.

Perhaps it is Newble that should be traded first (as a starter last year for rather low cost I would think he should have some value).

Sasha was our best perimeter defender after Snow by the end of last year (frankly after both it dropped off considerably as I'm not impressed with Newble's D) so I wouldn't be giving up on either right now

luke i traded moons ago

Id seriously hold onto them both for now but luke certainly has some talent, just hope he can be injury free

I'm not sure they are as similar as people make them out to be. Luke probably has better playmaking, passing and 3-point skills. While Sasha is the better defender and perhaps has better slashing/midrange ability as well. Until I clearly knew which player was superior, I wouldn't be eager to trade either one.

I believe Luke's alround game gives him an edge over Sasha, although I am a fan of Pavlovic. Sasha was a little hesitant on offense at times and that cost him minutes in my opinion. But like what has been said earlier, I would not deal either unless we can get something good back in return as we have invested 2 first round picks with them.
