Who's gonna be our 4th big we go after?

so in the article it says were looking for a 4th big. who do you think we'll be going after? or who do you think we should go after?

I think we should give Jason Smith a shot. great mid range, good defender, rebounder. hed fit great between lebron and shaq imo. wed have to find a 3 way and send darnell/jawad to somewhere.

what are your ideas for a 4th big?

1) What article are you talking about

2) Jason Smith is not a free agent and is some random second year dude that plays 14 min a game deep on Philly's bench.

3) If you're referring to the PD article, it meant within the existing big men on the team. Link and quote fella.

JJ Hickson all day everyday! I think he will have a great 2nd year.

Isn't Jason Smith coming off a torn ACL where he missed the entire season? We have enough bigs with injuries. Shaq's hip, Z's feet, JJ's back, Powe's knee, Andy's ankle .. no thanks.

The 4th big will be by committee, and also depend upon what lineup the other team throws out there.

For not a having a top-15 PF in the league on our roster, we are definitely quite versatile at the position. Andy can guard the tall, post-oriented players quite well, DJ is a banger and has quite a bit of muscle, JJ is very quick and can hang with most quicker PFs in the league, plus he is a pretty good finisher on offense, and finally, we have LeBron, who could probably guard about any PF in the league very well if he puts his mind to it.

We have Leon Powe who at the start of last season people thought he was better then Andy.

We have JJ Hickson who played better last season then Jason Smith did in his first year ( Jason Smith missed his second season)

We also can play LeBron at PF because we have two players and can play SF.

Yeah lets trade for Pf.

4th big minutes will largely depend on how good anothony parker, and jamario moon are. If he's like i think and not much better than wally we're likely going to be needing a 4th big, and hickson will likely see a windfall of minutes there. If they prove they can play we'll run small with lebron or moon at the 4.

Anthony parker is the big wild card . If he can still play well we don't have to worry about the drop off in perimeter defense when we run small like we did last year with wally.

If you'r talking about a center we do still have the rights to one over sea's i think his last name is kaun...but if your talking about a PF we have enough......

so, in that thing we did last week we talked about that stuff regarding a possible swap of the things we talk about whenever. But if we do that we have to remember to account for the things that we might forget about when we change the stuff that needs changed.
