We did trade for NBA champion and former 56th pick Sasha Kaun!I think it's really hard to predict who is going to be there at #56. Once you get into the second round teams can be using so many different metrics or a single attribute can make a team want a player. Talent is pretty obvious when talking about top 20 picks usually. After that it just seems so much about preferences and how the organization or scouts have seen these types of player develop into NBA players.
I dont know if any organization has a track record of finding good players in the 40's, 50's, or undrafted. Typically the players that organizations hit on in the second round are in the 30's.
Love that Juzang has juice in this poll...
Between your love of thicc bois and loving "Juzang juice', we may need to put in a call to your Misses to give her a heads up about the down low...
Thinking this through as I type...
If Mobley is there at #58/56, is there any benefit to giving him a *wink wink* deal and make him a priority UDFA instead? I haven't studied the new CBA, but could there be a benefit to free agency instead of 2nd round pick? I ask for the idea of making a draft and stash selection at #58/56, while also adding Mobley for "now".
As mentioned, just thinking this through. Thoughts welcomed.
