But team officials are realistic about whether they will be successful as he has four seasons remaining on his current contract.

I really like this kid, big, athletic, and young. Don't know to much about him but is he worth the contract and headcase that I hear he is? I don't know if I'd be willing to give up Varejao but I know the Wiz could really use a guy like Andy.

Next 4 years hes owed 6.4mil 7.1 7.7 8.4. That's alot for a guy who hasn't really proven himself. But if you think he could be the future center with Kyrie and TT then shouldn't you try to get him?

I'm guessing Atlanta or Golden State go after Blatche hard. Golden State really wanted Tyson Chandler last summer, and Kwame Brown was the consolation prize and placeholder for a guy like Blatche. They have the assets.

can we trade for him then but him out after this season. As long as we got either their 2012 or 2013 pick i would consider it. He's a good way of preventing us from winning 25 games.

on the cancer note, with our current crop of young guys (kyrie, TT, gee, omri) i dont see how he can affect them. They all seem to really have their heads screwed on. Also byron is not the kind of coach to put up with blatches nonsense. As john wooden said "the best teacher is the bench". Samardos learning that.

Blatche is more realistic of an acquisition than Cousins.
