Wizards president Ernie Grunfeld has resisted offers for forwards Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison in recent years, but that could change due to the team's struggles.

A person with knowledge of the situation told the Washington Post that no player is untouchable. Recently deceased owner Abe Pollin was against breaking up the trio of Gilbert Arenas, Butler and Jamison, but no such restrictions remain.

"It depends on how things go and what opportunities present themselves," Grunfield said when asked about potential moves on Wednesday.

Yeah, and I read on Yahoo that they are willing to part with ANY player on the roster...

The Wizards are active in trade talks with multiple teams, league sources said, and willing to trade any player on their roster. - YAHOO

Hopefully Danny is all over this and in the process of making an offer...

I like Jamison of course, but I like Blatche and if we could "retrain" Caron Butler to be more disciplined on offense and defense, he would be on my radar too... Who knows...

Due to history I am sure that Cleveland is last on the list of possible trade partners for Washington.

Any player is available???

Yesss

Blow up the team Danny

Due to history I am sure that Cleveland is last on the list of possible trade partners for Washington.

At this point, trust me, they don't care who the other team is. The guys in Ownership/GM roles don't care two $hits about history, or who hates who. All they care about is $$$$$, that's why they are in those positions.

For the right deal, they would trade anyone, anywhere... The Wizards are in as much dissaray as any team has ever been, and they are going to make big changes soon...

For what it's worth:

WojYahooNBA As Wiz move to demolish roster, front office is seriously exploring a deal for T-Mac's expiring deal, sources say. Butler likely bait.

I wonder if there is any chance that the Wizards would allow us to make a 3 way trade with Sacramento for Kevin Martin. With the trade the Wiz would end up saving 3.1 million in total salary (6.2 million including luxury tax).

Here is my proposed trade, tell me what you guys think.

Cavs trade: Z, West, JJ Hickson (optional picks)
Cavs revieve: Martin, Jamison

Sac trade: Martin
Sac recieve: Blatche, West, Hickson

Washington trade: Jamison, Blatche
Washington recieve: Z

If the Wizards bought Z out that trade would be a dream scenario for us, and most certainly would be the homerun deal that everyone is seeking. The biggest concern of course is Martins health, I didn't even know he was injured. Maybe someone that knows could fill me in, will he be able to play this season?
