Alright, I'll explain myself. But I warn you, it's quite long...
I find you to be a very smart poster here that could really bring a lot to the board (and I'm sure many will agree on that, because this is a great board in general), but it's the way you state what you feel. Most of it is very good, but adding in the comments here and there rub people like me the wrong way.
Me on the other hand, I like to write a lot of stuff, so that isn't because I'm "going off". Here's how it started, so I would hope you would take the time to read this (if you can't, fine, but I think we can come to some understanding, I hope).
For OUR sake? You think we care at this point? We've already shown how much better we are. If anything, if the Wizards run into us in the playoffs, they can't hide anymore. It's for their sake to win even one. We will always play at the right level in the post-season, so they can't get away with us not taking them seriously (why should we in the regular season? we know what the result is when we care...).
The Wizards may very well beat us several times in the Regular Season, if only because we didn't play with any fire. But we showed once we got that fire going in any game, it didn't matter what, they couldn't deny us.
I mean, let's put it this way:
- Z and Haywood didn't show who was better than the other. But now that SHAQ is there... what's Haywood gonna do? Foul out, probably. Z can manhandle Blatche and McGee on his own, due to their own foul trouble.
- Antawn is getting older. How much longer will it take for him? He can't explode like he used to. And if he does, LeBron can take him, so can Moon.
- In fact, with Moon on the team, he can take Butler to relieve LeBron too.
- Whoever the hell the shooting guard is, Delonte has shown his natural toughness with anybody. Parker isn't too shabby.
- And that leaves Gilbert. How's he gonna get anywhere if he can't stay f'in' healthy?! Delonte could probably man up on him. Mo could probably be somewhat effective. But Gilbert has to really step up, because no one else can realistically save them.
And besides, even if Jamison, Butler, and Arenas do their job, LeBron will still out manuever them. He's shown that, for all the bull-shit... they haven't been able to ever stop him. I doubt some travel is going to impact the series, let alone a game or 2.

For the newbies here that don't know, this isn't me "going off". This is me with my "usual long, essay-type post". There's a difference, because I like to type a lot. Usually trying to make valid points, but with a little bit of emotion, but not really "going off". Also, this isn't a post directed towards anyone in particular. I quoted Imadogg, but I'm informing all people on this subject. Not everybody here feels the same way about the Wizards, so it's good to have an opinion on why they aren't a factor to us anymore.

First, despite having its good points, this post sounds like it's coming from a 15 year old than a 19 year old (these guys have seriously banned stupidity on this site, so smart posts usually sound better than ones with lack of grammar). So of course it's going to rub people the wrong way. Even if you don't know why I write so much, it's because I can and I feel like it, not because of what you said. By constantly telling me "I'm going off", you keep rubbing someone the wrong way. Aside from being stupid with snide remarks, just tell it how it is, and it would be a great post otherwise.
Um, ok? Why exactly do you need to explain yourself? There is no rivalry going on here. There is no "feud" (at least in Cleveland). And they aren't even considered pests at this point (the proof was that we played them, were down by 20, and still nearly tied the game while not caring for 9/10 of the game). No one on this board cares, probably except for you...

That's when I said this. I probably overdid it, and I'm sorry for that. But I still don't think any Cavs fan here cares about the Wizards. On the Cavs.com boards, they're too immature to think about how to deal with the constant press from Washington, but here... most of us know that the Wizards aren't going anywhere and can't do anything to us at this point. It's so bad, that these "pests" aren't even getting any significant response from us, all LeBron said is he agrees with Mike Miller's point of "white, un-athletic guys can't jump". Something tells me this is going to be a long season for them, but not us.
Aside from that, sorry for going overboard here. I'll try to not react this way again...

Honestly? Well, I'm active on 2 other forums, one for primarily bball in general (amongst other things) where I'm a co-admin and one Lakers forum. We just had a Blazers fan join the Lakers site and he got hated on right away but he seems like a cool smart guy so I gave him props and am looking forward to seeing him post.
On this said Lakers board I usually have to play devil's advocate and argue
against Kobe sooo often cuz half the people are biased/homers/idiots, so I decided to join forums of other teams that hopefully had members of good bball knowledge, and this way also I can enjoy defending Kobe and my Lakers.
I get tired of having to argue with every single member saying the same thing, and I thought Kobe/Lebron are the 2 biggest names so I'll join a Cavs board and see wassup over there.

Playing devil's advocate does not require twisting anything, you can play devil's advocate by pointing out the other side of the argument without any twisting... and in most of my posts here I am not insulting anyone (maybe some Wizards players I insulted?).
You're twisting the opinion's of posters on here and their emotions. Get them to think about why they support LeBron over Kobe or vice versa (for the record: I think Kobe's a damn good player and LeBron's gonna need to grow further and Kobe to age if the Cavs want a chance at beating the Lakers). It's fine to insult the Wizards, I probably just misunderstood, which is my fault. But you also mentioned I was "going off" and I was "cuckoo for cocoa puffs".

I'm not on lakersground; I might have joined 1-2 years ago and had 10 posts tops, but no that is not the forum I'm active on.
From my point of view, I made that one post trying to clarify things with my initial statements and it for some reason seemed insulting to you (STILL don't know why...) and therefore I reacted with you being cuckoo. You were hostile to me first before I did anything. Of course I'm the new guy Lakers fan so people will just say I'm a troll from the start.
You're not a troll, I can tell that at this point. Just work on how you say things when responding to people and I'll work on how I respond to someone that tells me I'm "going off". I now think you're a damn good poster that just needs to keep working on how to post in a debate without rubbing people the wrong way.
