With all of the foreigners taken tonight, the 2nd round was pretty insane. ESPN didn't even have photos of some of the guys, let alone game tape.....

The worst pick in NBA history (yes, worse than Ejike Ugboaja by the Cavs a few years ago) is by far....

Chukwudiebere Maduabum by the L.A. Lakers at pick #56

Probably the coolest name ever. But definitely the worst pick ever. Were those stats correct that said he averaged 0.7 ppg and 0.3 rpb in THE NBDL? Are you serious?

Unbelievable. I feel bad for the guys that had great college careers and a guy like this gets picked instead. I know those college guys probably won't pan out, but they deserve a shot over Chuk MaduaBUM.

Also.... WTF was that trade with the Spurs and Pacers? I believe one of them received a stashed Euro from 2005? I mean.... really? In trade negotiations, they really said "we are only doing this if you give us that guy you drafted 6 years ago that is still overseas" REALLY?

What. A. Draft.

A #56 pick is the worst in NBA history? Really? It's probably not the worst 2nd round pick, let alone for the entire draft.

Maybe I should have said "Worst player ever drafted." I wasn't taking the pick number into account.

One of the worst picks in NBA history is Darko Millicic. Carmelo, bosh, Wade, Kaman, etc, etc, etc were all taken after him. Another bad selection Sam Bowie, or maybe Kwame Brown. Those are some of the worst picks in NBA history, taking some bum from where ever with the 56th pick doesn't come close to passing on Jordan or Bosh, Wade, Melo, and 20 other players that are better than him. Another bad pick was everyone taken over Kobe.

My favorite part about that pick was the looks on all the analysts' faces. Stuart Scott said: "I'm going to try to say his name because it's really cool if I get it right... nope, can't do it."

Then they went to Jeff Van Gundy who was brutally honest, "I have no idea who this guy is."

Finally Jay Bilas, "Its really tough to crack the Bakersfield Jam rotation."

By far the funniest sequence of the night.

Pushing into OT territory but I have to say, that foursome was the worst ever. I don't know bout you guys but Jon Barry seems to stall any chemistry built up between them. He's too stiff, and seems to not take hints well. Heck even his impromptu sounds robotic.

Eddy Curry or Michael Sweetney

How has someone not mentioned this yet?

Portland Trailblazers. 1984. 1st Rd. 2nd pick. Sam Bowie.....lol

Let's see who was taken after him:

3 Michael Jordan
5 Charles Barkley
7 Alvin Robertson
9 Otis Thorpe
11 Kevin Willis
16 John Stockton

Passing on Jordan was bad enough, but any of those guys would have been way better than Bowie.

Passing on Jordan was bad, but Bowie had a pretty good rookie year. If he hadn't gotten hurt it wouldn't seem so bad.

Out of college Bowie had a ton of skill,. Injuries prevented him from developing into the player that he could of become. Darko was a far worse pick than Bowie. Bowie reminded me alot of the previous years #1 Ralph Sampson. A bit shorter and not quite a skilled, but still a very skilled big man. Injuries shortened Sampson's career or he could have been a top 10 player of all time.

Also Len Bias was a pretty bad pick. Never even played a game... too soon?

He was so sick at maryland though. Guy had game. Couldnt handle his coke, but he sure could ball.

Edit: when I say ball, i mean basketball, not 8-ball. he definately couldnt 8-ball.

Everyone picked before MJ.

Stupid comment.

Olajuwon has 2 rings, one of the greatest centers of all time, true class act of a person, and won his first championship with almost no help, ie only star on the team, something Jordan never did. I dont think Houston regrets passing on Jordan for Hakeem for a second, nor should they. Jordan's development could have been completely different in Houston without Phil Jackson and Hakeem developed just fine.

I hope you checked before posting.
