I am glad we lost, i wanted to keep our 1st round pick anyways.

Now I am going to take my ball and go home.
 
So if we made the playoffs (and lose out on the Agbaji pick), are we still able to make the Mitchell deal?

I don't think so. At worst, it might threaten the loss of Garland if that pick is made...

Not sure. Would Utah have taken Okoro over Agbaji? I would guess yes since it seems the picks are what they really covet (after all, they took Sexton over Barrett - though in fairness bad blood with NYK may have been a factor).

The other side of that is - would the Cavs have let Okoro go in this trade, making for even worse depth? Imagine the current roster with no Okoro. I think they would have, but it would be concerning to have no good wing defenders.

No way the Cavs entertain the Mitchell trade talks if he had to give up Garland. They didn't even want to give up Allen.

Probably. We would have been able to offer another first rounder which is what Utah wants most.

No way the Cavs entertain the Mitchell trade talks if he had to give up Garland. They didn't even want to give up Allen.

No way Cleveland would have given up Garland, Mobley or Allen in any deal... those are the guys they wanna build around
