Haha, I don't actually see him doing anything. He already didn't want to coach it, he's probably just gonna sit on the bench and read a book or something.

I'd wager that Josh Smith would get some serious consideration since Pierce is a Forward.

THREE ALL-STARS for a team that probably won't get past the second round? I'd be pissed.

Well, if anything I thought David Lee/Brook Lopez should have gotten it over
Horford period, but they consider team's records way too much (which shouldn't really matter on an All-Star game, not over overall skill).

remember last year when KG hurt his knee they said he would miss just a couple games as a precaution....and that turned into him missing the rest of the season and having surgery.

There have been so many strains and stresses in the lives of Celtics' fans lately. Everything from Paul Pierce's foot to the whole darned team has seemed broken.

The latest concern is chemistry issues, as fueled by a series of recent quotes from Rajon Rondo.

Rondo told the Boston Herald's Steve Bulpett, for instance:

“We’ve got to play unselfish, you know? That’s on defense and offense. You’ve got to want the best for the next man out there regardless if you’re in the game playing well or you’re out of the game not playing well. ... The first year, it was a crazy spirit in the locker room. But now it doesn’t feel the same. It’s not the same right now. We’ve got to find a way to get that back somehow, some way.”

As a tangent to this conversation, I think in Boston the big 3, despite their age, have definitely been trying to hold on to their positions as leaders of the team. But it's becoming more clear (at least to me) that Rondo is the guy that has been keeping this team afloat this season with the help of Pierce and Perkins. It seems like the vets just treat him like some little brother. If I was an all-star point guard, I'd be a little pissed too.

I'm glad that the Cavs' vets don't throw around their seniority and accept the roles carved out for them here.

Josh Smith, without a doubt, is his replacement. He should have been the 2nd player on every coaches list anyways.
