WWE/NXT/AEW/NJPW Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Personally, I think Taker being there was the best outcome. Yeah, sure, the broken glass would have been cool, but the gong, darkness, slam, darkness and they are all gone. Couldn’t have gone better.
Quite possibly my favorite wrestling moment ever. Easily, in the last 10/15 years.
I too liked this version.

It also feels like there was a hand-off of Wrestlemania's "Final Boss" from The Dead Man to The Rock. This moment made sure everyone knew the Undertaker's legacy. No matter how much The Rock does as Wrestlemania's big bad from here on out, Undertaker will always be above him.

Think it could be Solo building his own Bloodline and it’ll end up as Old Bloodline vs New Bloodline

Solo
Tama
Jacob Fatu

Roman
Jey
Jimmy

Not sure where The Rock fits in.
Rock is gonna be old bloodline if this happens. At some point I think the guys turn on Reigns because of one of two things: his loss at WM or spearing the Rock on night 1. That being said, if they slide Roman into that original bloodline group until Survivor Series, he could eat another pin causing his team to take the L.

To me the way they handle Rock & Cody in the future will dictate how the bloodline breaks up.

As for Austin, he will likely be the run in when Cody buries the bloodline.

All depends on who the tribal chief is Solo was speaking of. Did he say it in the third person or was he talking about the Rock. They can really move towards a classic Survivor Series flip where Rock pretends to be Roman aligned while being the 2.0 tribal chief all along. Then somehow you can bring Sami to the OG Bloodline in a match followed by Roman/Rock at Mania. There are enough Samoans/Tongas to bring to Solos side in the meantime and I'm HERE for it all. Sometimes the stuff the crowd wants actually is best for business...

Rhea is injured and had to vacate the title…really sucks considering the run she’s on.
Ugh, I can’t stand Liv Morgan. I’m assuming she got hurt at Mania and using this “revenge tour” angle. Terrible.

She got hurt when Liv threw her into the wall last week. Unfortunate accident but it plays well into their current story.

I’m not sure how’s he’s done it, but I’ve watched every minute of the shows since Mania. I’m usually a TikTok watcher, but the last couple weeks have had me glued.

Maybe some. But Cody has been boring. Same promo since he won.
I think he just needs a feud. They’ve been setting up his next contender but not there yet. Him vs AJ (who I think will win Friday) is gonna be very good.

Gable turning heel tonight after the main event loss against Sami. Definitely the right direction for his character after so many losses in title matches. Eager to see what a heel Gable does under Triple H.

The presentation over this last month has been so much better. Sami and Gable put on a great match, and that heel turn was perfect. Gable snapped after seeing Sami celebrate with his family. Can't wait to see what this turns into.

I love the angle on that. Hugging his wife and out of nowhere he gets yanked out of frame. The transitions from backstage to entrance has been great as well. I love that because the entrance format has been largely unchanged out of a few special cases like Goldberg. The new production guy has been very good since before Mania.

Best thing about it is how seamless it has been for them. Noticed they are getting rid of the graphics as well. Smaller titantron screen too.

Last thing left is a lot of these guys themes, and they'll be set.

Who's in charge of these different angles nowadays? That entrance by Sami has to be an all-timer.
