Which ones are your favorites? I just downloaded the demo for Toy Soldiers and played it a little bit. I also have Battlefield 1942 which is fun to play. Downloaded Marathon a while ago and will probably give Perfect Dark a shot as well. There's so many different games to choose from, which ones are worth taking a look at and spending money on?

**oops, title should be plural (Games)

Shadow Complex great throwback to Super Metroid and Castlevania Symphony of the Night

Asteroids and asteroids deluxe
awesome retro game but I really like the updated '3D' version

Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie are my favorites. Two great N64 games that bring back memories of playing N64 as a kid. Perfect Dark didn't do much for me though.

Braid is probably the best original game of the lot. If I remember correctly it was nominated for game of the year despite being an arcade game. However, the replay value isn't good at all.

Other great titles that I've played the shit out of:

Aegis Wing- it's free; 4 player co-op online. what more can I say
Marble Blast Ultra- really addicting and also challenging at the same time
Mortal Kombat 3- a classic; it's a shame they took it off the marketplace
Undertow- free game; 2 player co-op
Uno- fun and relaxing gameplay online with friends

Those game are FREE?!?!?!?!
Wait we are talking about MICROSOFT xbox correct?

I'm not sure if they're still free, but at the time when I downloaded them they were. Both came out quite awhile ago (probably around 2-3 years ago). I've had the 360 since release and I think I've seen about 6 quality arcade games released for free during the XBLA's existence.

Btw if anyone is looking for a bargain, check out the Indie games sections. Majority of the games suck but there are a few gems in there. Keep in mind, most of these games are only a dollar.

Trials HD is probably my favorite, it's a brutally difficult game on the harder levels but the more you play the better you get controlling the physics of the dirt bikes. I absolutely love it.

Also like;
Shadow Complex
Bionic Commando: Rearmed
'Splosion Man

I have bionic commando because I loved it when I was a kid...
But to be honest I have played it very little...
Not to say it sucks cause it doesn't, it's just that there were so many other 'better' games available
Still have it on my hard drive it is good for when you get bored with other games and don't feel like dragging your ass out of the recliner to change the game..

Marvel vs Capcom 2 - Best fighting game on any next-gen platform.
Street Fighter II: HD Remix - Still great fun, and looks good too.
Peggle - Addictively fun, mind-numbingly simple game kinda like pinball..
Brain Challenge - Fun with ole girl and the kids, same as above..

I wish they'd release a multiplayer Tetris Attack/Panel de Pon clone, and Street Fighter III: Third Strike.

I can play Geometry Wars 2 for hours. So addicting.

Marble Blast Ultra.
Could play that game all day.

^^^^ YES :werd:

Marble Blast Ultra.
Could play that game all day.

Probably the only game better than Geometry Wars 2. It's a close one.

Other great games are Mortal Kombat 3 (But they took it off the marketplace :thumbdown) and I still think Geometry Wars 1 was a great game (2 is definetly better though.)

And if you're looking for good Xbox original games to buy in the marketplace, I personally love Crash the Wrath of Cortex.. :woot:

The new Risk: Factions game is pretty good.

I have battlefield 1943 and plan on exploring more arcade games after playing it. There really are some good gems out there
