The Indians released Derek Lowe and then he was signed by the Yankees. We do not get a prospect and we are not off the hook for the remainder of his contract. We do get off the hook for a little bit of his salary though(prorated league min.)

I predicted he'd pitch in less than 20 games for the Indians this season and got thrashed roundly for it. I'm giving myself a 10% confidence interval and confirming once again that I am a genius when it comes to Cleveland sports related predictions. I am pumped right now.

I nailed the Trent Richardson pre-season knee injury already as well. Only issue is that I predicted an ACL injury. I was close...and there's still time.





EDIT: Actually fuck the confidence interval thing. I probably used it wrong. Let's call it a 10% margin for error and get back to praising my prediction.

I went back and checked my post. I did in fact predict DL for him.

But I also predicted EXACTLY this on 3/31/2012 at 12:54am in the Spring Training thread:

You keep saying that about trolling. I'm expressing an opinion in earnest and have been approaching the Tribe thread that way for a while. Two weeks ago? Yeah, maybe I'd troll this thread. But I've grown up a lot since then and learned a lot about America's past time and feel I'm ready to contribute.
