Do Not Sell My Personal Information
New York writers are still devestated about the 03 draft and lottery. When they didn't land LeBron a shadow cast over NYC Basketball and hasn't lifted since. Vecsey is stretching this farther then Sally Struthers' stretch marks.

He really needs to stop writing articles..along with just about every other New York journalist. A top ranking official huh? BS his sources are garbage and he's been consistently wrong...if LeBron goes anywhere it'd be to a team with a snowballs chance in hell of going anywhere in New Jersey..and with Jay Z.

Screw Vecsey..and fire his tailor.

Precisely ....if Lebron ends up going anywhere, it will be LA or NJ ....most likely NJ. And to tell you the truth, that only happens if Lebron clearly sees that he can't win championships with the Cavs.

I fully expect that after this season, Lebron will be convinced that he can win championships in Cleveland, because I think we're be in the finals, or at least the conference finals.

We're right there ....and getting better and better. This team is quite a bit better than last season just based on the good health and improved condition and play of Lebron James, Donyell Marshall, Damon Jones, Larry Hughes, Drew Gooden, and Anderson Varejao.

Add to that strategic addtions of David Wesley and Scott Pollard,.,. strong draft picks in both the 1st and 2nd rounds .....

Then to cap it off, a coaching staff that seems to have made alot of progress in bringing this team along defensively and offensively .....our time is now, in my opinion.

We're ready to win it all.... with health I am looking at between 56-60 wins this season, homecourt, and a long run in the playoffs.

Wow, this shit again??? Who better than Vecsey's washed up ass to bring this back into the picture.

Here we are talking about winning a championship this season, and this shmuck is stuck in the past. LeBron leaving Cleveland is SOOOO 2004. Get with the program, Vecsey.

Or is Thomas simply seething because neither his first suspected plot nor the second paid off? At least in the short run. A high-level league source swears James will opt out early (after the 20011-12 season) from his new deal and join the Knicks.
Maybe this "high-level league source," aka Vecsey's make-believe (and only) friend, should get his facts right and learn his contracts. If LeBron opts out, then it's after the 2009-10 season. Or does this asswipe not know this?? How can you swear something will happen when it theoretically can't? And don't people realize that LeBron took the shorter deal so he can re-sign for the six-year maximum deal in 2010, where the Cavs and only the Cavs can give him the most money?

Man, how do idiots like these become journalists? It kind of crushes the value of a journalism degree these days.

Majoring in journalism would have been his first mistake.

Isn't it brillant to draft two players just because they have the agent of a player that you have very little chance of signing. I mean for Lebron to leave Cleveland he'd have to think that he can't win here and be going to a place where he has a better shot. The New York Knicks with Balkman and Collins are not necessarily that team.

If Isiah drafted these guys because they have the same agent as LeBron, he is retarded. First of all, he's gotta be thinking about winning THIS season. Even if LeBron didn't re-up this summer, Isiah would've still have to wait for 2 more seasons (restricted FA and then finally unrestricted FA) before LeBron was even available. There's no guarantee that he'd still be GM by that time.

Plus, um... capspace.

I doubt LeBron signs for a 6yr deal, perhaps ever.
