You can play with Cavs 08-09 on your PC

Ok, so I just discovered all this within the last 48 hrs and its pretty fly!

Im not... ok maybe I am a computer nerd at heart, and when one of my friends emailed me a link with this new update that was released for NBA Live 2008 on PC, I had to go buy the game (which I found at Best Buy for only $10)

I installed the game, and installed this one update package and PRESTO, I this years roster with rookies and all their specialized shots inserted on the game.

Its more realistic than my 2k on 360, and everyone who played in my 2k league knows how much of a 2k honk I am, but these guys over at the NBA Live Series Center website, really made complete overhauls of the game released last year and made an entirely new game experience.

Im not a pc gamer, and I just plugged my wired 360 controller into my USB port on my pc and with the factory video card and sound card I have, this game looks just as good as my 360.

Those Cavs ratings are still horrible IMO... If LeBron is a 96 who the heck can get 100? If they want to make Z a 77 thats fine, but to put Wallace ahead of him at a 79??? Also Mo is behind Ben and only a 78??

I use to play Live on PC about 2 years ago all the time, got roster updates from users on NLSC, then I played 2k and fell in love haha. But I think I'll get this and do the updates. RCR, you see how your graphics are choppy? Mine were like that too but I went into settings and I think you put some stuff on high and it becomes rounded and smooth and more higher quality.

I like the ratings. Nobody in the game has an overall of 99. Kobe is close to Bron, I think with a 95. Most players are in the high 80's and it addds to the realism.

The overall of Ben compared to Z is more contingent on Defensive Awareness and intangibles than FG's, so i could see how he gets a point on Z. He's still quicker, more agile, better defensively 1 on 1. I've been playing the last few days and I like the way Z plays on the game. He has his set jump shot and his offensive rebounding is dead on.

But, I did have to adjust some ratings for players, like Mo WIll like you pointed out. His awareness was terrible, though we dont know yet if thats true or not.

but you gotta try playing this with the update Im playing with...Every single player has their signature jumpshot and the Ai has been adjusted for realism.

But in NBA Live, Players at 85 are missing easy layups, mid-range shots, etc. I know of a place that has ratings/settings boosts that make the game as real as you could get on NBA Live 08(Sign up is required to download the update, but thats a minor detail). You are WAY OFF my entire point, and I also think you dont understand what all they do for Live on PC.

For PS3, all you can do is adjust ratings and sliders... with PC you can rewrite the AIACT which is player movements, shot animations and all of that.

I've tried adjust console games and its not the same. This PC update makes it play like a totally diff game
