Lamar Butler should go in the draft!!!!!

trade up and get jj redneck... I heard he can play pg really well with good size... but mybe not, im not to much of a collage basketball guy... anyone agree with me??

I think that Reddick is purely a situational shooter in the league unless he ends up on a team that has a good enough defense that they can hide him. I don't think he'll be able to guards anybody in the NBA. He'd be 10 times worse defending PG's than anyone that we have on the roster (Jones included)

^^Agreed..

Here is my 2 Round Mock Draft:

David Stern:
With the 1st pick in the 2006 NBA Draft the Toronto Raptors select..... Andrea Bargnani, F, Italy.

[1].
tor.gif

--------|Andrea Bargnani, F, Italy|--------
11307437066208.jpg

Also could be considered: LaMarcus Aldridge, PF/C, Texas
Why? - With the Raptors being a running team Bargnani would seem to fit right in with Bosh and Villanueva. Bargnani is also a favorite of GM Bryan Colangelo.

[2].
chi.gif
The Chicago Bulls select...
--------|Tyrus Thomas, F, LSU|--------
tyrusthomas01.jpg

Also could be considered here: LaMarcus Aldridge, PF/C, Texas
If the fall: Andrea Bargnani, F/C, Italy
Why? - The Bulls really lack a big man down low with the athletic ability that Thomas possess. He also fills a gaping hole with his scoring down low.

[3].
cha.gif
The Charlotte Bobcats select...
--------|Adam Morrison, F, Gonzaga|--------
morrison.jpg

Also could be considered here: Rudy Gay, F, UCONN
If they fall: Andrea Bargnani, F, Italy
Why? - The Bobcats fill a huge need here with a wing scorer. Morrison should fit right in with his winning attitude, and will undoubtedley help the franchise with ticket sales.

[4].
por.gif
The Portland Trailblazers select...
--------|LaMarcus Aldridge, F/C, Texas|--------
aldridge_lamarcus_200_11.jpg

Also could be considered here: Rudy Gay, F, UCONN
If they fall: Adam Morrison or Tyrus Thomas
Why? At this point Aldridge is BPA. You can’t pass up a talented big man to pair Zach Randolph or Joel Pryzbilla with.

[5].
atl.gif
The Atlanta Hawks select...
--------|Marcus Williams, PG, UCONN|--------
p1_williams.jpg

Also could be considered here: Randy Foye, G, Villanova
If they fall: LaMarcus Aldridge, F/C, Texas
Why? The Hawks #1 need is a PG who can take pressure off of Joe Johnson. Hawks get their man in Williams who is the true PG they need and can hopefully make up for them passing on Paul last year.

[6].
min.gif
The Minnesota Timberwolves select...
--------|Rudy Gay, F, UCONN|--------
rudyguweb.jpg

Also could be considered here: Randy Foye or Brandon Roy
If they fall: LaMarcus Aldridge or Tyrus Thomas
Why? With KG wanting to win now the Wolves need to draft an impact player. Gay has the type of talent to be a star in the league, and at this point you can’t pass him up.

[7].
bos.gif
The Boston Celtics select...
--------|Randy Foye, G, Villanova|--------
5282900_36_3.jpg

Also could be considered here: Brandon Roy, G, Washington
If they fall: Marcus Williams, PG, UCONN
Why? Even though Foye isn’t a true PG that the Celts want Foye could certainly fill that role. His toughness, perimeter defense, and ability to get to the rim should take some pressure of Wally and Pierce.

[8].
hou.gif
The Houston Rockets select...
--------|Brandon Roy, G, Washington|--------
184997.jpg

Also could be considered here: Ronnie Brewer or Shelden Williams
If they fall: Rudy Gay, F, UCONN
Why? With TMAC and Yao carrying the load, the Rockets need to find a 3rd option to compliment them. Roy gives them a consistent 3rd option and should help out on defense by taking some of the load of McGrady.

[9].
gsw.gif
The Golden State Warriors select...
--------|Patrick O’Bryant, C, Bradley|--------
pobryant01.jpg

Also could be considered here: Ronnie Brewer or Shelden Williams
If they fall: Rudy Gay, F, UCONN
Why? Even though the Warriors have drafted big men the past 2 drafts, O’Bryant is just too good of a prospect to pass up. O’Bryant is only 20 and could make a scary pair with Jason Richardson.

[10].
sea.gif
The Seattle Sonics select...
--------|Ronnie Brewer, G/F, Arkansas|--------
1132527654.jpg

Also could be considered here: Shelden Williams, PF/C, Duke
If they fall: Rudy Gay, F, UCONN
Why? With Ray Allen aging and Rashard Lewis in a contract year, it would be smart to start grooming a wing player to take over. Brewer would make a good compliment to either Lewis or Allen and could make an immediate impact coming off the bench for the Sonics with his versatility.

[11].
orl.gif
The Orlando Magic select...
--------|Rodney Carney, G/F, Memphis|--------
t1_carney.jpg

Also could be considered here: JJ Reddick, G, Duke
If they fall: Ronnie Brewer, G/F, Arkansas
Why? The SG spot in the Magic’s lineup is a gaping hole. Stevenson was serviceable last year but isn’t the long-term solution. In drafting Carney, they find a legit 3rd scorer to go along with Nelson and Howard.

[12].
nor.gif
The NO/OK Hornets select...
--------|Shelden Williams, PF/C, Duke|--------
williams_shelden3.jpg

Also could be considered here: Cedric Simmons, PF/C, North Carolina State
If they fall: Rodney Carney or Ronnie Brewer
Why? With PJ Brown aging the Hornets need some toughness and defense down low. Williams is an all-around good defensive player and would compliment David West well.

[13].
phi.gif
The Philadelphia 76'ers select...
--------|Rajon Rondo, PG, Kentucky|--------
283128.jpg

Also could be considered here: Cedric Simmons, PF/C, North Carolina State
If they fall: Rodney Carney or Shelden Williams
Why? With Philly being one of the worst defensive teams in the league last year, they need to find some defensive players in the draft. Rondo fits the description and would be a great guard to compliment AI.

[14].
uth.gif
The Utah Jazz select...
--------|JJ Redick, G, Duke|--------
jjredick.jpg

Also could be considered here: Saer Sene, C, Senegal
If they fall: Rodney Carney, G/F, Memphis
Why? Just like the Magic, the Jazz are seeking to fill their 2 guard slot via draft. With Reddick still being on the board, I don’t see how they can pass on him with him filling a big need [SG and outside shooting].

[15].
nor.gif
The NO/OK Hornets select...
--------|Maurice Ager, G, Michigan State|--------
mager02.jpg

Also could be considered here: Thabo Sefolosha, G, Switzerland
If they fall: Rodney Carney, G/F, Memphis
Why? With the Hornets taking care of their need down-low, they will probably take a look to find a running mate for Chris Paul. Mo Ager would fit right in with the run-and –gun offense and would benefit from the drive & kick opportunities.

[16].
chi.gif
The Chicago Bulls select...
--------|Thabo Sefolosha, G, Switzerland|--------
1125145250.jpg

Also could be considered here: Cedric Simmons or Mardy Collins
If they fall: Shelden Williams, F/C, Duke
Why? With already taking care of the PF slot, the Bulls need to address their SG problem. By taking Sefolosha, it would give the Bulls a big, physical 2 guard.

[17].
ind.gif
The Indiana Pacers select...
--------|Cedric Simmons, F/C, North Carolina State|--------
1135061990.jpg

Also could be considered here: Hilton Armstrong, PF/C, UCONN
If they fall: Rajon Rondo, PG, Kentucky
Why? With Simmons falling so far in the draft, the Pacers have to take the BPA. Although Simmons is BPA, he also fills a need for a big man that can block shots and score some.

[18].
was.gif
The Washington Wizards select...
--------|Mardy Collins, G, Temple|--------
collins01.jpg

Also could be considered here: Saer Sene or Hilton Armstrong
If they fall: Cedric Simmons, PF/C, UCONN
Why? With already having one of the best scoring teams in the league the Wiz need to get better defensively. With Jeffries maybe leaving via FA, Collins would be a great insurance policy with his versatility offensively and defensive intangibles.

[19].
sac.gif
The Sacramento Kings select...
--------|Hilton Armstrong, C, UCONN|--------
1133167038.jpg

Also could be considered here: Saer Sene, C, Sengal
If they fall: Mardy Collins, G, Temple
Why? The Kings sorely missed a shot-blocker down low last year. With already having good perimeter defenders, the Kings snag a missing piece to their puzzle to help them compete for the Finals.

[20].
nyk.gif
The New York Knicks select...
--------|Saer Sene, C, Senegal|--------
obryant64.jpg

Also could be considered here: Kyle Lowry, PG, Villanova
If they fall: Cedric Simmons or Mardy Collins
Why? With Sene falling this far, the Knicks can’t pass up his potential and athleticism. Sene would give the Knicks a presence down-low who can alter shots; Something they were hoping for Jerome James to do.

[21].
pho.gif
The Phoenix Suns select...
--------|Jordan Farmar, PG, UCLA|--------
2002708879.jpg

Also could be considered here: Sergio Rodriguez, PG, Spain
If they fall: Saer Sene, C, Senegal
Why? With Nash aging, the Suns have to eventually find a replacement for him. Farmar would be the perfect PG to groom for the Suns offense.

[22].
njn.gif
The New Jersey Nets select...
--------|Sergio Rodriguez, PG, Spain|--------
1106224158.jpg

Also could be considered here: Kyle Lowry, PG, Villanove
If they fall: Jordan Farmar, PG, UCLA
Why? Like the Suns, the Nets need a future replacement for Kidd. Rodriguez possess some of the same skills that Kidd has and would be a great young PG to groom.

[23].
njn.gif
The New Jersey Nets select...
--------|Alexander Johnson, PF, Florida State|--------
1131425853.jpg

Also could be considered here: Josh Boone or James Augustine
If they fall: Saer Sene, C, Senegal
Why? The Nets desperately lacked a PF last year. Johnson could fill that role and eventually become a Udonis Haslem type player who would compliment Kristic very nicely.

[24].
mem.gif
The Memphis Grizzlies select...
--------|Shannon Brown, G, Michigan State|--------
tx_brown_si.jpg

Also could be considered here: Quincy Douby, G, Rutgers
If they fall: Hilton Armstrong, PF/C, UCONN
Why? The Grizz really need a combo guard who can penetrate and finish at the rim. With Brown they get an explosive player who can finish above the rim.

[25].
cle.gif
The Cleveland Cavaliers select...
--------|Quincy Douby, G, Rutgers|--------
pic2.jpg

Also could be considered here: Kyle Lowry or Guillermo Diaz
If they fall: Sergio Rodriguez, PG, Spain
Why? A PG is the Cavs biggest need this offseason. Douby would be a great fit with LeBron being a guy who can light it up from the perimeter.

[26].
lal.gif
The Los Angeles Lakers select...
--------|Marcus Vinicius, F, Brazil|--------
2239_2.jpeg

Also could be considered here: Kyle Lowry or James Augustine
If they fall: Shannon Brown, G, Michigan State
Why? BPA. With there really being no other players worthwhile at this selection, Vinicius would be a good player to have develop under the triangle offense.

[27].
pho.gif
The Phoenix Suns select...
--------|Josh Boone, F/C, UCONN|--------
1104461623.jpg

Also could be considered here: Shawne Williams, F, Memphis
If they fall: Marcus Vinicius, F, Brazil
Why? The Suns really need some shot-blocking to compliment Amare. Even though Boone might be a bit of a reach, he fits hugh need and most importantly fits the Suns’ system.

[28].
dal.gif
The Dallas Mavericks select...
--------|Oleksiy Pecherov, F, Ukraine|--------
opecherov01.jpg

Also could be considered here: Guillermo Diaz, G, Miami (FL)
If they fall: Quincy Douby, G, Rutgers
Why? With Van Horn likely to leave via FA this offseason the Mavs will have a spot open at PF. Pecherov is a PF who has a nice stroke from beyond the ark would fill what Van Horn brought to the Mavs.

[29].
nyk.gif
The New York Knicks select...
--------|Kyle Lowry, PG, Villanova|--------
cardinal_dougherty_oakhill_kyle_lowry.jpg

Also could be considered here: PJ Tucker or James White
If they fall: Marcus Vinicius, F, Brazil
Why? With the Knicks really having no “true” PG who can distribute, Lowry seems to fit the role well. He would be the PG that LB likes with him being a distributer and a defensive PG. Isiah also might like toughness that Lowry plays with.

[30].
por.gif
The Portland Trailblazers select...
--------|Joel Freeland, PF/C, England|--------
joel-freeland-hd.jpg

Also could be considered here: Damir Markota, F, Croatia
If they fall: Marcus Vinicius, F, Brazil
Why? With the Blazers already having a pretty young roster, it would be wise to take a young prospect and store him overseas until he is ready.
