Your 2018 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How much money you want to put on that slick? You're problem is that you don't know how to use a google button apparently. Diaz won defensive player of the year twice in the minor leagues. Deal with it.

You act like you know it all and in actuality you know very little.

If you’re wrong, we get to ban this personality permanently.

So, link?

The hatred between me an AZ_ aka b00bie goes very deep and we don’t like each other at all, but when it comes to knowledge, he knows a lot more than most of the posters here. If you don’t like the guy then so be it, but saying he knows very little just shows you literally know nothing.

Diaz isn’t as strong of a fielder as Urshela at the end of the day and everyone knows that. That being said Urshela, if he could fix his holes in his swing, probably would win a GG or at least be a candidate too if he played everyday. Diaz will be at least average at 3B if not better but will not be at Urshela’s level

lmao @ the thought of "deep hate" on the Internet.

Like there's a pic of titty's avatar on his fucking bathroom mirror or something.

Correction on my post. I should have said that Diaz won defensive 3rd baseman of the year...twice in the minors.....not defensive player of the year.

My apologies.

Did you just quote yourself?

I tried to edit my post..I guess you can't do that here. Again, my post was inaccurate and I've corrected it with what it should have read.

Hope that helps.

Urshela is the better glove, and the knock on Diaz isn’t the potential to be solid defensively, it was the inconsistency over at 3rd that is the issue. In due time he could be above average there, but Urshela by far is the better glove.

I mean I think they will play Diaz some in the OF in spring training. If Brantley and Guyer aren’t ready to go, we need another capable bat in the lineup and if he can show to even be average out there then he is a better hitter than our other options. The bench spot we will fine to be able to fill with who we have. It will be The starting production we gotta find a replacement for.

I watched every single inning last season. and I disagree. Diaz has better reflexes, better range and had a higher fielding percentage than the over rated Urshella. Diaz is a better athlete than Gio is to boot.

It's just another misrepresentation by the media. comparing these 2 defensively.

Right. Because Diaz showed defensive improvement with his good bat. But Diaz was still poor.

And for someone who espouses about being a stats guy would back this up with statistical analysis

On the bottom left corner it allows you to edit btw right next to the report button on your posts. Yes you can technically report yourself on this site if you want to lol

Also you do need to look at stats which they prove pretty easily that Urshela by a fair amount is the better of the two at 3B when it comes to defense. Now that being said, he has been a slight enigma over there as well since on film he looks better than his stats say for whatever reason.

Also if Diaz was so good with the glove they would have put him in other spots in the INF by now. We all know 1st base has been an issue at AAA yet he has never played over there. He was signed as a 2nd base, but hasn’t played there either since he was in Cuba honestly. They tried him in the OF to try and develop him elsewhere and he hasn’t been doing well out there. He is a very good hitter and honestly if he doesn’t finish his career with a .280 or higher batting average (aka one of your hard hitting stats) then I would be very surprised. But saying he is better than Urshela at 3B on the field says you aren’t watching nor checking all the stats.

I mean, if you look at Gomes majority of his errors are throwing errors so you wouldn’t expect the fact he is the best in baseball when it comes to throwing out base stealers. If you don’t look at the whole picture and all the stats not just a couple then you will never be able to really be the person that your name represents.

He’s a stat guy, not an awards guy.

Out of his element.

This is how I imagine Trump would post if he were an Indians fan and RCF was his medium.

Never leave.

Instead of posting here, maybe start a "Statman Update Thread" so all of us won't miss your posts but they are all in one easy place and we will definitely read them all I swear.
