Your 2019 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Goodyear = furthest stadium from Phoenix = shitty location = cheap land = of course the Dolan's build there.

It wasn't exactly splitting the atom.

This team needs a chair throwing, players only meeting. Mentality needs changed or this season is over.

I'm ready to call up Danny Peoples

Bad and boring is a tough sell. This team looks defeated.

My oh my do i miss those pennant winning moves in Napoli and Rajai. A cleanup hitter and a leadoff hitter. Something this team lacks.

Just keep batting your best bat leadoff though, only if Frankie could drive himself in.

Has nothing to do with batting order or even who is in the lineup right now.

This is where losing Edwin (especially w/ Jose) and Brantley hurts the most...they were the de-facto hitting coach the last few years...

Well at spring training it was hilarious. There was a lot of alcohol involved though.

Goodyear? That's in the middle of nowhere. Wait, the land is cheap? Let's put the ballpark there! Innovation!

Goodyear is not the middle of nowhere. Buckeye is the middle of nowhere, Goodyear isn't about cheap land, its about available land but still in town.

I don't like the drive out there personally, but Scottsdale already has 2 ball parks, 3 if you consider the cubs park is literally on the border of mesa/tempe/Scottsdale.

Since all tourists know about Phoenix is Scottsdale and oldtown, everything else seems like the middle of nowhere to you.

They built with the Reds, not really their decision alone. And its not the furthest from Phoenix. Royals/Rangers is the hardest to get to in Surprise, Bell rd is a nightmare and there is no other way, atleast the Stadium in Goodyear is off the highway.

And its one of the newer stadiums, ofcourse its going to be out in one of the further suburbs. Colorado/Arizona got the new one in Scottsdale, cubs spent a fortune for theirs, not cheap dolans, cheap fans who wouldn't pay a fortune to go to the spring training games. And the one the White Sox/Dodgers built isn't much closer and honestly its a crappy stadium, just went, like the Indians one much better.

All the other stadiums are much older, the idea is to spread them around, its really not a cheap things, the new ones that are close make sense, cubs and Arizona.

Doesn't King Francona have to sign off on any changes made to his coaching staff or is the front office finally going to exercise some power?

Totally man.

It’s ok. Don’t have any fun. I’m sure the Indians will win next year anyways. Remember, the more you spend at the ballpark the better chance they have to win. Tell em Larry sent ya.
