I watch the games completely alone. The only people I would watch a playoff game with have to be complete die hards as well and understand that there is no talking or anything to distract from what is at hand.
If I have to work, I record the game and let everyone know that I do not want to know one single thing about the game. I don't even want to know that it's 2-0 Cavs. People do not understand the passion and think it's kind of bizarre.
This is just for the playoffs...I'm not nearly as crazy for regular season games.
I will never forget that last year I was back at my parent's house for Game 2 of the ECF and after Turkey Glue hit the shot with 1 second left, my dad accidentally fast forwarded all the way through to the celebration.
I had walked out of the room after Hedo's shot so that I could re-gain my composure and not break something in the living room. As I was walking back my dad goes, "LeBron hit a 3, we won."
It was so weird because I didn't unknowingly watch it happen, I felt like it wasn't real. Even as I watched us celebrate, I just had the horrible, pissed off feeling in my chest. So surreal.
