I am. I'm in Europe on vacation and just found out that my grandfather passed back at home. At the airport right now waiting to board an abrupt flight back.

I was watching Game 7 videos when I arrived at the airport to distract my mind - then I walked into the bathroom and wouldn't you know it: there was only one other guy in there at the same time as me.

And he was wearing an NBA Champs hat.

At least for a little while, I was able to smile.

Thanks Stannis. The Cleveland pride begins with me in my lineage but he was well aware of it at the time and was extremely happy for me. He'll know that one day his great grandchildren and all future generations will now inherit this very same passion, though.

It's amazing how those black sleeved jerseys went from hated and despised to iconic in the span of a single season.

Had we not won a championship in those, there's a good chance the design would have been a one-off like some of our other yearly alt uniform designs.

I don't think the wine jersey with the '80s Cavs logo in gold will be back this year. That one was my favorite among last year's set.
