#21-Alex Mack
#36- Brian Robiskie
#50- Mohamed Massaquoi
#52- David Veikune

I give them an overall grade of B-

How bout you guys??

A solid C, yeah, I'd go with that. Maybe a C-.

I said this in the Live Chat and I'll say it again: trying to grade only half of the draft on the day of the draft, is stupid. The draft isn't even completed yet and it takes at least 3 years to properly judge a draft class...

C-

You start the day with selecting no.5... and you get Alex Mack.

Don't forget we also got Abram Elam, Brett Ratliff and Kenyon Coleman too...

#21-Alex Mack- A: Best Center in the draft, fills a our biggest hole in the offensive line. Not to mention we finally have someone to handle Casey Hampton and Haloti Ngata.
#36- Brian Robiskie- B: He is the most NFL ready WR in the draft. Great routes, great hands, average speed, not much upside. Robo will be Joe J's replacement and a good all around player. I would give him an A but...
#50- Mohamed Massaquoi D: What? I mean, he has the big P-word, but man, two WR'ers and we keep Edwards? Meh, not sold on that and would have been happy with either Robo OR MM, not both.
#52- David Veikune: B: Everything I've read and seen shows that he isn't that great of an athlete, but the guy has incredible strength and pass rush moves. Should be a nice complement to Wimbley, if he can pull his head out of his ass. Biggest thing? He looks and sounds like a Steeler.

Overall? B. That Massaquoi pick really, REALLY pissed me off. I didn't like it, especially when we could have had McCoy. However, Mack was one of the best OL Prospects in the draft, and that was really what matters. Mack will be an anchor in our line for 10+ years, along with Joe Thomas.

The only reason a got B instead of a B- was because of what we got in the trade. Elam is a starter, as is the DE. We got 4 to 6 starters today, and that is a good thing. We didn't NEED a ILB since we got Barton, we can save that for next year, I suppose.

If the Browns get Shone Greene tomorrow i will be happy. (unless he was already drafted?. I didnt watch the end of the draft.)

they got 4 potential starters with coleman, mack, elam, and Robiskie. thats the part i like they filled holes at C, DE, S, and WR.

That said i think they could have gotten better bang for their buck at the other picks i know nothing about the DE from hawaii but dont understand the Massaquoi pick at all.

edit: overall grade B-. the browns came away with 4 potential starters but for having 3 2nd round picks they really only got 1 guy that will contribute immediately.
