Your "New" 2018 Cavaliers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We need another strong vet presence in the locker room.

Why exactly? Last time I checked we had one of the best players ever now 30 plus in LeBron. We have Yoda in Jose Calderon. We have one of the all time best 3 point shooting vets in Korver. & we have K-Love who has been there and done everything at this point.

We finally got some youth and energy on the team, and people want more old guys to sit on the end of the bench?

As we just learned, locker room chemistry is huge. Last man on the bench means almost nothing, sees almost no playing time. Also, if we need someone punched in the head Perkins is a good find. lol

The excited builds. Hoping for Derrick Williams or bogut please.

Big edy would be nice too.

I can't think of a single available player that should actually get any meaningful minutes on this Cavs squad. Therefore you guys might as well sign Perkins who can at least be a positive locker room presence and fill the void left by the likes of Mike Miller, James Jones, Richard Jefferson, and Channing Frye.

Agreed, come May/June he won't be seeing any meaningful minutes. Perkins at least he's one guy you don't mind coming off the bench in a melee.

This "positive locker room presence" stuff makes me gag. We have a great, high-character group of guys headlined by LeBron, Love, Calderon and Korver.

Perkins is a fucking waste.

Gimme Edy Tavares. 25 years old, 7'3". He can come in and provide some rim protection in spurts or for certain matchups.

I'd agree if there was someone else worth picking up. But who else is worth adding? Maybe a G-League player?

John Holland has been useful before. I like him and he can compete on the NBA level. Injury insurance, and can hit the 3.

No thanks. He shoots the ball every time he touches it. I don’t want that on the team. I don’t care if he’s trying to show out or anything it’s not helpful for us. Reminds me of Jordan McRae. We need someone without an agenda.

Sure. No agenda usually means no skills either tho. I thought he has played well in his stints for us. He had to shoot those shots. He was wide open.

Again, they have to sign somebody. They can do a 10 day contract, but someone must be signed tomorrow.
