Says Z is working the Hook from left and right. You know what I like? Everybody is bringing something extra. Larry is shooting better, Z with the hook, Marshall and Jones showing up in shape, Gooden just being better on all counts. It is like the whole team took serious pills over the summer.

So in other words, we get even more 18ft sweeping hooks that slam off the glass like a 2 ton recking ball...NOW WITH BOTH HANDS..

Needless to say, my enthusiasm just went up a couple notches..

Hell I'm not a huge Z fan but I appreciate the effort. Hopefully Lebron gets the hint and finally does some work on a low post game as well. With that body of his, James should be Barkleyesque downlow

When you look awkward in the NBA, they call travelling. Z's hook looks awkward.

So he's trying to keep it from happening again by taking the somewhat rare and challenging step of adding a facet to his game at the age of 31. He has slowly and surely been working on an old yet forgotten move: the hook shot.

Haha, BW makes it sound like he's never taken a hook shot before... duckunder/baby hook has only been his bread and butter post move for the past decade...

OK... I get the left and right thing- he worked off the left block 90% of the time last year. That would be a welcome addition if he get a baby hook going again from the R side.

Z is a great center in my opinion, he's just a little slow coming down the court, and his hook should be effective.
