Z not retiring next season?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That's awesome, know why?

Because when we trade him and he gets waived, we can give him our bi-annual exception and bam, he's locked up for this year and next :D

Yea!! Another year (or maybe even TWO!!!!!!!!) of pissed off Z-haters!!!

True, Gunther.

I'm hoping Big O chimes in on this thread... he's been watching Z play since 1964 and has the best grasp of his talents.

Z has alot of good basketball left? Where is it?

8pts, 5.5 rebs and 1 block a game off the bench in 20 mins a game, shooting 46% and nailing 6/9 3's so far this year (he was a big part of our ot win)

I would say those are very solid numbers from the bench, especially considering he is basically 3rd option off the bench behind andy and west.

Do you expect him to still be an all star?

I think what Cavs23 is trying to get across is that Z doesn't have a LOT of good basketball left.

People are talking about Jamison potentially dropping off or aging, and he hasn't even shown any signs of that yet. Z is on the decline.

With that being said, Z is still a great change of pace center - as I like to call it - to Shaq and as long as he's hitting some shots, we can utilize him.

do z and chris tomasson have some sort of special bond with each other from when he was at the ABJ years ago? Tomasson loves writing articles about the big guy.

Wonder what Vitaly Potapenko is up to these days?

Well, he should have said that then.

Him saying "Where is it?" is implying that he hasn't seen it.

one, you cant teach 7'3"

Two, z wouldnt come back making huge minutes, nor would he cost us any assets. Its called resiging. The question is, is Z more valuable than someone like Jawad. Obviously yes, so you resign him and let him take a roster spot. To be honest, I wouldnt trade for Z at this point for what he brings on the court, but neither is any of the teams interested, they want him to buy him out.
