Cavaliers center Zydrunas Ilgauskas was examined today at The Cleveland Clinic by head team physician Dr. Richard Parker. He was diagnosed with a strained back and is listed as Out for tomorrow's game versus the Chicago Bulls at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. He will be re-examined tomorrow and his status will be updated after that.

:(

The one and only Max broke this news for us in the shoutbox earlier tonight. This team just cant stay healthy.

Man we are snake bitten

If we can't become healthy come post season, or at least a month before it, we are in trouble.

Give him as much rest as possible.

And if Mike Brown starts Varejao and Wallace, he is retarded.

Hardly. The Andy/Ben lineups have been close to neutral and will only improve given more time together. It may never be great, but it's hardly the end of the world and if he happens to go with it, it wouldn't the first time Brown sacrificed offense to start the game with a defensive tone.

I hate when Z misses because brittle AV is even more exposed. Especially since AV isn't even really healthy yet.

He will. The other 2 guys just have to make their shots.

I would start Smith and Wallace. Andy seems to be a little more hyper active then normal, especially with the ball in his hands. Part of me wonders if he pressing with the addition of Wallace and Smith, not to mention he's trying to justify a big contract after next year.

I for one think Andy will be serious trade bait this summer, especially if we go after a star player in trades such as a Redd or Johnson.

Why not go, West, Brown, Wally, Lebron, and BEN?

Have AV, Smith, and Jones coming off the bench. Lebron can guard their PF's in Tyrus Thomas and Noah. Ben can definetly guard their center Gooden.

You are totally wrong.

And the end of the one game last week when we went with Ben and Andy showed why. They totally neglected both of them and just went all over Lebron any time he stepped in the three point line. And we all know we dont want Lebron jacking threes all day.

Unless something has changed Wally won't be back for the game due to the birth of his son.

And the end of the one game last week ...

One game last week against Milwaukee? When Andy was just returning from a major injury? When they're still trying to incorporate new players?

Sorry

That doesn't make me "totally wrong".

If we eliminated every combination that ever got outscored by 8 points, we wouldn't be able to field a team.

For it to work, Andy and Ben are going to have to get open under the basket for dunks, and Andy is going to have to hit his short jumper so they have to cover him when he clears out of the lane. If they don't put a man on Ben, he'll be all over the offensive boards.

Plus it would have helped if Wally had made some shots.

Ben and Andy are +3 when playing with Devin and Delonte.

It won't ever be a great offensive lineup, but as they get more used to playing together defensively, Andy rediscovers his game, and the shooters rounding it out actually make some shots ... it should improve and I can see it becoming a + lineup.

That is unless the coach started listening to fans & press and never tries it again....

My favorite lineup so far has been AV/Smith/Lebron/(Brown or Jones)/West.

We did real well with these guys the other night. Good mix of offense and defense

So no game time heroics from the big man? I haven't heard otherwise. :(
