Z Plans to Remain a Cav next season (and beyond)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm glad they retired his Jersey, this is is another thing that shows why, he has been a huge past of our franchise for the past 13 years, he likes his team, and wants to always stay in Ohio. He really deserves a ring here. Big Z FTW!

What? Where's the link this articles from?

If Z wants to stick around it's only a positive for the Cavs. He still brings skills and a game that fits here and that this team can use. Of course his minutes would continue to be reduced but he'd still have a positive impact even with less playing time.
There's not much of a down side to keeping a 7-3 C who can stretch the floor and brings size defensively and under the boards while also being a high character player.

Me and many others have been saying this for years on here, The next number to go in the rafters will be an 11.

i disagree, I think the next number to go into the rafters will be a "2009" on our NBA championship banner.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I don't know why I didn't type it.

You just don't get decent guys like Z anymore. And his determination is amazing considering the physical damage his body has taken throughout his career.

As good as he still is, and as unlikely as it is to happen, I hope for his sake that he returns next season as either a bench player or starting next to a young legit bigman.

Its an obvious and cheesy joke, you left it for me to take, as obvious and cheesy is my specialty around here (not to be confused with the nacho cheesy that is Max's specialty around here, lol)

You have to respect Z. He is a true professional and I will be sad when Z is no longer rocking the wine and gold every night.

Z can still hold his own against any center in the NBA. Barring a major injury, he will be around 4-5 more years.

Z is just sorry that LBJ didn't come sooner. He is prepared to ride the L-train as long as he can.

Darn I was hoping to get rid of him.
