I didn't see a thread talking about Z and the historic night, so I thought I'd make one. If this needs to be moved, then please do.

But the Cavs made a really amazing timeline site of his whole career that I thought everyone who loved Z should check out:

I just got tickets, and can't wait. Should be awesome.

One of the times I wish I lived closer to Cleveland. That's gonna be awesome, I really wish I could go.

I love big Z...a true Clevelander at heart and honestly we should give him the warmest welcome possible

I'll be there. Hopefully I make it to the retirement portion

I still remember when I lived near him and his wife and I talked with him in Heinens for an hour about basketball, and he was nice the whole time. Although the alternative was walking around with his wife and grocery shopping, so I guess I rank slightly above that at a minimum.

Historic

I remember loading groceries for the dude one November. Nice guy, tipped well. Loved him as a player.

I have a favor to ask somebody who lives in NE Ohio. Since I live in Atlanta and have to watch the games on NBA League Pass, I never ever get to see the halftime stuff. They always cut to the stupid league scoreboard with the cheesy retro music that reminds me of the soundtrack to the old PC game Carmageddon. Anyway, I was wondering if somebody could record the retirement celebration and somehow get me a copy of it whether it's a digital copy emailed to me or on a DVD sent through the mail.

I'll be there, it's one of the games on my partial plan. I was too pumped when I realized it. Building is going to be electric for that.

I'm sure it will be on youtube the next day

I know someone that works there. They are going to stream the ceremony on Cavs.com.

i was wondering where would it be possible to get old cavs games ? Back in the old days i did not have a pc or cable, so missed most of his career. To buy or to download. There should be somekinda archive, right ? Or maybe you guys have ? For example i am very curious about that all star rookie game.

Ive seen him at dinner a few times, he was on crutches. I remember his crutches being taller than my dad lol

I also had a Lithuanian bar tender in cancun (right?) and after we said we're from cleveland he was like "Zydrunas Ilgauskas!" that was pretty neat.
