@Soda @TheLand1287 You guys head out this morning? Was up early so I headed over to downtown Heinens. Grabbed BCBS, 1 Northwoods, and 1 coffee. Was only in line for about 20 minutes, was surprised at how much they had there.

I got two of the BCBS. No northwoods or coffee though... Toledo didn’t get any variants

At least you were able to grab something. Just ran up to the bar to see if they had any variants left, no luck though. If I come across any somehow I’ll grab one for you.

I headed downtown at about 5:30 this morning. I was about person #28 or so. Ended-up being able to get back in line a couple times as well. I got 8 regular BCBS, 3 northwoods, 2 coffee, and a barleywine. I took a nap, then met a buddy up at Lizardville in Bedford because I live so close. Had the 2016 single barrel vertical, then came home and fell asleep again lol. I just now got up.

Same here, my third time around they were out of coffee, and the guy said no limits so I asked for 3 barley wines. He was like “how about 2?” and wouldn’t give me the third, so much for no limits haha. Can’t complain too much, I got more than enough. Like you, I also went up to Lizardville for some drafts since I live 5 minutes away, had a barrel #1 and the coffee, then went to my car and grabbed a Northwoods to split with a buddy.

Man, reading all these beer hunting posts make me sad that a) I live in the Toledo area, and b) spent the past few days in Michigan with my fiancées family so I couldn’t selfishly make a day trip to Cleveland or Columbus.

Oh hell yeah. I’m planning on being down there next Sunday for their release in Marengo, and then likely stopping down to the brewpub/kitchen. Wish I thought of you when the Pineapple Clipboard went on sale there Wednesday, believe it’s sold out now. Im interested in the Voltan and Chuck Biscuits/Citra if it’s still there.

Vlad the Impaler, Imperial Stout, from a Canton Brewery "Royal Docks". 13% ABV.

Just discovered it at Giant Eagle here in North Olmsted. I'm Romanian (Love the historical Vlad Tepes, or Vlad the Impaler), LOVE Imperial Stouts, and love high ABV anything.

Needless to say. It's tasting fucking amazing right now after doing yard-work all day on a cold November day.

Recently moved back to Cleveland after being gone for many years. Founders is releasing Canadian Breakfast Stout on Friday. Any ideas of some good craft shops where I might have a shot at getting a bottle?

Rumor is CBS will be pretty abundant this year, even more so than BCBS and I’m still seeing that sitting at random Giant Eagles. I’m planning on heading to Lizardville in Bedford Friday to get some on draft, I’ve never had it before so I’d like to try it before paying $24.99 for a bomber.

Read the same as well. I haven’t asked, but assume it will be at most local shops. I’ll be heading over to Lizardville as well, preferably earlier in the day. I stopped by there for the BCBS tapping later on in the night and it was obvious people were there for a bit too long

What time do you plan to go to Lizardville today? I don't think I'm going to get there by 3. I also don't think it'll be gone, but I'm not positive of that. My Heinen's guy said that he's getting more CBS this year than BCBS, so it sounds like we're hearing the same thing.
