Championship Parade/Rally

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I was on East 9th street at the parade, next to the porta-potties. People were literally sitting on them. First it was kids, then grown adults were starting to sit on them. A lot of them caved in, no one fell inside though.

Seriously, there were no barricades at all. They finally brought in police to tell people to move back and to clear the street. It was just insane madness.

When that whole chaos happened outside, my friends and I went into Tower City to catch a movie, to pass time. Saw Central Intelligence. Very funny.

Anyways, when we got back, we saw some people huddled up inside the theatre and then when we went out into the food court, it was just a mess. Trash, shoes, sandals and also plants knocked down. It was just a weird scene.

It was still a blast though, but very exhausting. We waited 3 hours to get on the RTA and we were walking to our car and saw a train pull up and we made a split second decision and somehow got on and still got a pretty good view.

However, I think next year, I will just watch it in the comfort at home.

I mean... people that get faux offended at a few swear words, especially ones used in context.. can just get bent. I swear I'll never understand why some people walk around so uptight.. but guess what? The rest of us don't have to be.
Why is it a bad thing that some parents don't want their kids around swearing? Lebrons speech was awkward (Kaun) and unnecessary (swearing).

Please explain.
Because this wasn't a post game press conference.

We didn't go disrespectful like dray last year but the dude went on about golden state who we clearly hate, on the day were recognizing were bamf

Watch our guys reactions behind him

Because kids are going to be around swearing anyway. They are just words, and I teach that words only have power if you give them power. And that adults get to use them but kids don't. Why make something so ultimately meaningless so taboo?

"Swear" words used in the proper context are fine. If that's not the proper context I do not know what is. A giant party, and he gets to let his guard down among his people and be himself. That's rare.

Sorry but.. I get tired of everything being so puritan and watered down at all time because kids. Seriously, with 1.3 million screaming lunatics - if you choose to bring your kids there they will hear 'bad' words.

Just my opinion. I think the vast majority of people thought LeBron's speech was awesome... ya can't please everyone I guess.

I made the trip from the southern most tip of Ohio. Across from Huntington , West Virginia. From waiting in line for 3 hrs at Brookpark to the long wait at the rally I was on my feet for 9 straight hours. Legs and feet were numb (old and a little overweight). Would not have missed it for the world. I can mark that off my bucket list. Still smiling. Thank you Cavs. Lasting memory.

Sometimes my dogs like to eat fresh horse turds so maybe it isn't all bad?
