Championship Parade/Rally

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Are there any hot girls at this parade? The montages I've seen so far were horribly disappointing as far as the talent they chose to represent the city.

Hells YEAH, there were. And short-shorts out the ying-yang. The Cavs jersey and the ripped jean-shorts is the new sexy look.

"The Red Sox held a parade (or as Boston mayor Thomas Menino put it, a "rolling rally") on Saturday, October 30, 2004. A crowd of more than three million people filled the streets of Boston to cheer as the team rode on the city's famous Duck Boats. The parade followed the same route the New England Patriots took following their victories in Super Bowls Super Bowl XXXVI in 2002 and Super Bowl XXXVIII in February."

I BELIEVE you; I just think it's silly, acting like your 20th title in 40 years is special.

That's, like, 3 million DILDOS, with a sense of entitlement.

Can I post jpegs, or do I have to upload them to the web first?

Upload to imgur or another site, then use the insert-picture-icon here and point to the URL.

Griff said great things. He's a well-spoken dude. Loved it.

Love listening to Griff, Lue, and LeBron talk. Each different styles but they find a way to make sense and communicate well.

Dan Gilbert on the other hand. I cringe every time he talks. He is the weirdest poster child for ADD/ADHD I've ever heard. He jumps around every one and a half seconds from one half baked point to another. I cringe every time he opens his mouth. More importantly though, I do love him every time he opens his checkbook.

I have a source for a close to 7 gb file of the parade/rally. It's a Russian torrent site that I go to sometimes for basketball. It's free to register and you can translate it into English. Completely safe, every torrent I have downloaded from there was what it said it was...

Either the planners were stupid or people are just stupid.

I got there at 7:30, and set up right on the curb on E. 9th just south of St. Claire. I brought folding cheers, water and sun screen. Phone was charged. Had it planned perfectly.

A bunch of idiots thought "show up early" meant show up at 11:00. People started just standing in the middle of the street. YOU CANNOT WATCHING A PARADE WHILE STANDING IN THE ROUTE THE PARADE IS GOING, MORONS. Worse, the cops weren't around enough to keep the streets clear. They'd clear a path, then the people would fill it right back up. A few them even tried to argue with the cops. Absolutely mind blowing how inconsiderate some people are. The idiots showed up way later, slowed the entire parade down by 2 hours, and still somehow got the best seats.

Basically my experience. Total chaos. Wouldn't have missed it, but parts of it were very unsettling. Like the fact that the front row seat I got at 8 was a 10th row seat when the parade started, at 11.45.

Just listening to this...you can tell why every teammate LeBron has ever had loves him to death, and why every role players is dying to play with him. He even makes 14th and 15th guys feel special.

Didn't Jordan's teammates fear and hate him (except for Pippen)?

Wait - wut? I am confused, and not a little bit frightened. The dude was eating road apples, like people eat popcorn? That really happened?

Yes, this really happened.

I'm just relieved I wasn't the only one walking around with a shit-eating grin.

One girl was shot, two bullets to the leg. Non-fatal injuries and the suspect is in custody. Happened at the corner of Euclid & Ontario.

I about two minutes after I left the area. You could tell shit was getting weird. There was a dude dancing real weird on a flatbed, and then people start throwing bottles at him. GLASS bottles. I said to my buddy, "We need to get out of here..."

Knowing how much Bron loves Gladiator, I thought they would play the music, and then lift the trophy above his head, while everyone chanted, "Maximus! Maximus! Maximus!" Apparently, no one was as clever as me... ;-)
