Championship Parade/Rally

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I still find it hilarious that the trophy was in the bed of a random pick up.

Delly must not have showered after Cedar Point....same attire.

Kevin Love with the "Ohio Against The World" hat and the SMOKING SKULL BELT....

Damn, this is LEGENDARY.

It may have been mentioned in the RJ thread but here's something else that's cool from the last few days.....

You'd think that these guys would be doing interviews and sponsorship calls 24/7. They're at the apex of their popularity (especially guys like RJ, Frye, Delly) and yet they were all over at Delly's wack ass empty apartment playing beer pong with his dad. :chuckle:

And Stone Cold's music before he spoke. Plus the New belt that WWE Made... I was waiting for him to pull a beer out of his pocket and open it on stage.

Between being in Cleveland for game 7 on Sunday and the parade yesterday... haven't had much (any) time to catch up on some of the threads in here since the win. Looking forward to being able to do that now that we all return to a state of somewhat normalcy. The past 4 days have been insane. I've probably slept 18 hours total since Sunday morning when I woke up and started getting ready to head to Cleveland. I hope everyone here enjoyed the parade yesterday whether you attended or watched from home.

Personally, the day couldn't have gone better for me. I left Toledo around 5am, hardly hit any major traffic, got to my cousins place at Stonebridge on W 25th around 7am, tossed back a few Lake Erie Monsters, then headed to the parade around 9am and got a beautiful spot right at the Q where the parade started and was like maybe 6 rows of people deep. This was VERY surprising to me based on the reports of people lining up like 18 hours before. Saw pretty much everyone I wanted to see at the parade, minus Tristan for some reason. Got into Mabel's BBQ on E4th around 1:30 and they only had a 15 minute wait (food there is fucking great). After that decided to bag the rally, which turned out to be a great idea based on how late the parade was running and how hot it was. Just chilled at my cousin's place after and got to watch the rally on tv and regroup. Went out to Great Lakes Brewing for a few hours to let the traffic die down after all the festivities and then made the drive back to Toledo.

I'm fucking exhausted. So glad I was able to experience downtown after the win Sunday AND the parade yesterday with little to no issue on traffic and finding a good viewing spot. My only complaints were the port-o-potty situation, the fact the team didn't all go on one float with the trophy, and obviously that it was a bit of a clusterfuck with the parade route and everything running late for the rally. But, we're kind of virgins when it comes to this championship parade stuff, so it's whatever at the end of the day. Glad it's all over now. I'm ready to read the 20+ articles I have saved in my phone since Sunday night, go through the threads on here to see how other's experiences were the past 4 days, go through all the pics I took yesterday and Sunday, and finally let this moment sink in (it still really hasn't).

Going to try to post pics and videos of Sunday night and yesterday when I can. But I also have a lot of real work to catch up on too. And sleep.

Anyone have a link to the video they show with LeBron talking about Cleveland and then reverses what he said? It was just scrolling text that then scrolls backwards and is read again.

Lol that's crazy. I was on E9th and the parade didn't even start passing us until almost 2PM. No wonder no wait there!

Still mad I set the parade to record 5.5 hrs and it still cut off LBJ, goes to show the sheer magnitude of the parade.

I have to say that the players really impressed me yesterday. Despite being stuck in one spot for extended periods of time, they kept their energy and enthusiasm up. Delly especially was a madman, rushing to all sides of his vehicle trying to give as many high 5's as possible. It was awesome to see.
