Hue Jackson and Todd Haley Fired

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The way that he has mismanaged the QB position is a damn disgrace.

I want to like Hue, but I think he needs to go. You can’t bench a rookie QB and call it a learning experience then announce him the starter for the rest of the year and bench him the next week. What the hell are you doing?

You all are kidding your damn selves if you think 1) Hue didn't know what he was getting himself into and 2) Hue hasn't had every say regarding QB personnel being drafted and/or kept on the team. Own it.

I just don't see how you can lose 30 games in 2 years with a non expansion team and be given another year

Seriously think about the magnitude of that. 30 games in 2 seasons. That's remarkable. And it's honestly looking like a very real possibility if not an event that is almost as likely as not

Put everything else aside and you show me a coach that won 2 games in 2 years? That's just end of discussion for me

How does the roster the last two years stack up to an expansion team?

Nah, sorry. You of all people don't get to say this. This is revisionist history for you. You literally predicted 11-5 for the Browns.

Btw the team is considerably more talented than an expansion team.

The roster just isn't as bad as people want to think it is.

Zeitler, Thomas, Collins, Kirksey, Garrett, Shelton, Duke, Bitonio, Njoku, Taylor are all good players.

Other players can make plays too like DeValve or McCourty.

I can barely name a couple players on the Bears and Jets and those teams have 3 wins.

We won't agree on Farmer being any good as a talent evaluator or team builder, his misses were far bigger than his few finds. We will agree that it takes a while for a draft class to show if they really love being a pro football player. There were more talented players but what players like Kirksey and Crowell had that others didn't is they want to play and want to be better.
I am not saying Farmer was any good at all. I was making the point that this front office has added a minimal amount of talent despite having a ton of picks in two years. Farmer was very bad at his job. Sashi is even worse and less qualified. It is like going from a very bad restaurant to one that gives you food poisoning. Neither is worth your money or time.

Houston went 4-12 in year 1

Panthers went 7-9 in year 1
Jags went 4-12 in year 1
Both made playoffs in year 2

Seattle won 2 in year one and 5 in year 2

There is no way this is true.

Farmer was the absolute worst GM in the history of the NFL.

That Manziel and Gilbert first round was one for the ages.

People around the NFL laughed when Sashi was given the keys. He had to be talked into Garettt at one. He has blown just as many if not more picks than Farmer. He has no business doing this. He will be fired in less than 10 weeks, or given a different role where he no longer has control of the roster.

Is this known to be true?

They also have a baseball guy making decisions which seems even more laughable.

If ownership gave them a two year window to begin competing, this front office is absolutely inept. However, looking at the moves they chose to make, they acted like last season and this season had no bearing on their commitment to a five year plan. I therefore don't see this as the offseason they are fighting for their jobs. The moves they made scream at least another year before the seat gets hot.

Now, if ownership's good friend from the University of Tennessee has other plans because of the young roster and a great stockpile of picks, that's the only way I see it change.

I'd offer Tony Romo the HC position.

No joke.

Meh, maybe OC, I could 100% see Hue hiring Carson Palmer as his OC if Palmer were to retire this year. They have a previous relationship from their time in Cinci.
