LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

At...the moment?

The Lakers seem insanely toxic.

I could again be rather wrong. Perhaps (again) LeBron pulls something out of his ass and we are looking at Superteam II with him.

But man..

I just don't know who in free agency decides to join LeBron. I've said this before, only him and Durant have the luxury of taking short contracts. I'm just can't see a player tying themselves to LeBron and the Lakers long term. LeBron showed he isn't invincible this year.

The other thing is Ingram's clot in his shoulder is a huge drop in value for an asset. I'm not sure who would take Ingram as an asset for a star player. Lonzo and Kuzma just don't seem like great building blocks even if they are both attached to this year's Laker's pick.

The Lakers are under the gun by LeBron's age and their fanbase. They will add any free agent they sign into a deadline deal if it isn't working. I don't think there will be a wait and see approach to the team.

I bet Lakers give Jimmy Butler a max, either Lakers or Knicks do once Philly doesn’t make ECF they’re not maxing him.

Yes my bad, I should have look n the second round.....I should had said no first rounder from that class made the playoffs for the first time......

All the same, hard to believe that among those who are still in the league, that so few players from the draft didn't make it.

If Douche-face Bob Myers returns to SoCal as is rumored as a possibility...who knows what they might be able to pull off.

As previously rumored...Ty Lue looking to take the role of figurehead coach from junior Walton...we'll also see how that affects things...

This statement might make me unpopular... but Magic Johnson has always been tremendously overrated as a basketball mind post-playing days.

That part is important because he was a better player than his lifetime stats imply. However, while everyone is piling on LeBron... they are letting a Golden Boy of the NBA off the hook eventhough his resume is a mixed bag at best for about thirty years now... and get ready for it because I'm going to go way against my stereotype... It's because the media always treated him with kid gloves after the HIV diagnosis.

That said, LeBron is currently taking body blows for Magic Johnson being so terrible as a front office face of a franchise. LeBron's people were idiots and terrible friends for never seeing this pattern from Magic.

How hilarious would it be if these morons actually hired Lue? Like you gotta be one of the worst gm's of all time to actually think that that dude is the guy to fix this mess. It took what, 8 games for him to be exposed as a fraud once Bron left? I guess it's the Lakers so anythings possible. Also, take Longbardi while you're at it scrubs . . .

It's weird that any sort of convo about lebron doesn't begin with perhaps criticism of some of his team related drama, but rather it's always "HE'S NOT AS GOOD AS KOBE/JORDAN" debates with absolute boorish people.

He's done some absolutely brilliant PR moves with his foundation, his school, and the entire "homecoming" to "title win". Just an absolute masterstroke in terms of success.

But it's weird the press won't just...admit that yes, he's made some mistakes and they have been self inflicted/with the help of his crew.

For whatever reason? The media covers tends to shrug their shoulders at it and refuses to really entertain the possibility.

If within 5 years we're discussing LeBron James as a successful producer of entertainment? Than this move was a success I guess. Because he sure as hell isn't going to be successful in basketball at the moment.

Didn't realize that Rob Pelinka was the snake that lied to Gordon Gund for that bum Carlos Boozer. WTF goes lying to blind people??? There's a special place in hell for scum like him. Not saying Carlos would have taken us over the top but we could have traded him for an all-star or multiple pieces and maybe some high picks. Maybe LBJ doesn't leave then, dunno.
