New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I've contemplated watching it.
Problem is I'm kinda ADD-ish and usually when I watch shit, I also do other stuff for example when there is a simple conversation and I don't need to watch people's faces while they talk.
I can't do that with subtitles (I obviously don't speak Italian) and that means I would need to make a lot of stops during the episodes and it will take me ages to finish lol.

I don't know if it's worth it.

It is.

I agree that watching shows with subtitles is hard. You can't do anything else. I struggle to even eat while watching a subtitled show.

But it's fucking worth it, because Gomorrah is the best show on television right now.

I also highly recommend the German show Dark, which is also in my current top five. Never would have thought that two of my favorite shows on television would be Italian and German, but both shows are wonderful and deserve to be watched by anyone who appreciates good TV.

Probably the biggest plot twist in this Andre documentary is that Hulk Hogan gives the best, most poignant interview in the whole damn thing.
Hulk loved Andre. I think he really looked up to the guy, so that really doesn't surprise me. Every interview i've seen with hulk talking about Andre he seems incredibly excited to talk about him.

Yeah, and he teared up talking about him several times. Makes sense, though. Andre was the guy who helped make Hulk in that 'Mania III match. The stories about that match were the best part of the documentary, where Hulk had no idea if Andre was going to put him over or not. :chuckle:

Ric Flair sounded like a mess. He's aged a ton in the last couple years.

I know Westworld is supposed to leave you guessing and to mess with your mind, but is anyone else having trouble staying focused or following through the first two episodes of season 2?

I hope the shine hasn’t worn off but I definitely struggled through the last two weeks.

I fell asleep in the middle of the first episode, but I was also severely jet lagged. This second episode was okay. It filled in some back story a bit, but a bit of the shine has worn off
because it was more exciting when the machines didn't know. It felt more suspenseful.

Haven't watched it yet, but doesn't surprise me. Season 1 was the same way and while I liked it, slogging through 8 hours of TV before knowing what is going on isn't exactly time efficient or enjoyable at times.

I really enjoyed all of season 1. The whole thing really held my attention. I think it was a mistake to wait this long for season 2 though.

Been awhile since there was a good episode of snl, but this was one.

Glover had an amazing performance too

I watched that SNL episode specifically because Donald Glover was doing it. I enjoyed it. It got me thinking how Glover had that semi joking campaign to play Spiderman years ago. At the time he was the right age to do it but I didn't think it was a missed opportunity by Sony. Looking back though, I think it was a huge miss opportunity. FX felt so strongly of this guy's talent that they let him go make the Han Solo movie and held off making new episodes of Atlanta while he did it. Marvel even gave him a camo in the new Spiderman movie.

His resume just keeps piling up bigger and bigger things. Its almost an after thought when they mention in interviews that he was a writer on 30 Rock.

Fuckers cancelled 99, that's some bullshit.

I wouldn't be surprised if it gets picked up by Hulu. I also saw Last man on Earth got cancelled. Even though I was still watching it, the storyline has been pretty bad for a while. Will Forte needs to do something else, he character evolved to be way too annoying. I'm disappointed they cancelled the Mick too.

They are apparently talking to bring Last Man Standing to fox, which I don't really understand. The ratings weren't that good and it's been off the air for like 2 years.

Lethal weapon is also in the air because they fired the main character and have yet to find a replacement.

Talking of shows that are not cancelled, how is Van Helsing not cancelled. I forced myself to watch season 1 just like i did the Strain. Waste of my time.
