New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So I’m finally caught up with new season of Westworld. Are we supposed to hate Dolores? Because even going back season 1, my girlfriend and I could not stand her. She has the worst/cheesiest lines.

Didn’t know about Eric Andre, shit is weird, somewhat funny, somewhat creative. “Snakes with human traits” and the double talking bit with James Van Der Beek had me laughing pretty hard. I wish I didn’t give a shit, could act crazy, and make money. I’m somewhat envious of him.

They cancelled The Expanse. Wow !!! I can see the business reason for it- It was slow to build up and there was a lot going on which initially felt was all over the place but once we get a hang of the story, it was fantastic. It was so far the best space Sci-fy on TV and I am going to miss it.

I tried watching it and it never grabbed me. I think that's big for the streaming part of the equation to the business. A show needs to grab the viewers from the get go especially if it isn't a massive hit from the first airing side of things.

How many episodes deep did you go? I am not disagreeing with you because, that is precisely the reason why it got cancelled. If you watched the entire first season and still could not get into it, then it is a different matter, but if all you did was give 4 - 5 episodes then it is not enough. I watched the entire season 1 and once the story and the characters started falling into places i really enjoyed it. Season 2 is even better.

Also, when checked on sites like IMDB and RottenTomatoes, The Expanse is doing much better than Fear The Walking Dead and as good as The Walking Dead. And considering it is in SyFy which makes mostly B grade cheesy flicks and series which are maybe entertaining but not sensible enough, this was a game changer for them. Hence my shock.

I only gave it a couple episodes but I watch too much TV as is so if it doesn't grab me or my friends aren't raving about it, it's hard for me to stay with it. I wouldn't start it now since I know it won't have a definitive ending.

Ive given up a couple tv shows in the last couple months that I invented multiple season in. If a show doesn't get me excited to watch it and multiple episodes start piling up, I rarely go back to it. If it's on Netflix, I usually have to binge it otherwise I rarely come back to it.

That is mostly my preference too - I cant stand the weekly wait. This one is on Amazon Prime - but if the story is not going to continue then there is no point investing time into it.

It just reminded me why I cancelled Amazon Prime. Expanse was one of the shows that I felt I had come to the end of the road in terms of their library. I'll probably restart Amazon Prime when Man in the High Castle comes back then go thru their new shows and the library again to binge.

They are raising their prices - so make sure you really want it.

I just do it for prime video by the month. I just jump on Hulu and Prime Video as the shows I like are being release then I binge other stuff then cancel after a couple months.

The expanse is really really good sci-fi. Shame they cancelled it. I'll have to read the books to learn the ending now. Maybe another network will pick it up

Safe on Netflix is pretty solid. It’ll keep you entertained for 7.5 episodes...

The ending is pretty disappointing, didn’t ruin everything before it, but came pretty close

Still worth a watch
