New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I just finished the 3rd episode of season 2 of 13 reasons why. Man it's hard to watch. It isn't bad but it's too intensely depressing and sad. I have to take breaks from it every 20-30 minutes. Its going to take me a while to finish it.

Binged the first season of Suburra on Netflix. Another quality Italian crime show. It's not as good as Gomorrah, but it was a very well-structured binge show. You just get hooked in and want to see what happens next, and there's very little down time.

Definitely worth a watch.

Evil Genius on Netflix is worth a watch

Loved 'Evil Genius.' That's some sick, twisted, messed-up shit. Can't believe I didn't know about it prior to the documentary.

Season 2 of Westworld has been shitty so far

I'm personally not hating it that much at the moment, but you can see where it's going. They're going to keep adding more parks and more characters as the world expands until they run out of dollars and ideas. A lot of it does feel like "forced writing," though, something kind of like 'True Detective' season 2 where the creative energy is just not present as it was in its respective predecessor.

Trying to watch The Crown, but it seems like I have to pay too much attention. I'm on Season 1, Ep 8 or something. Do I continue?

It's worth sticking with. It's a really well shot, well edited look at what is arguably a pretty special era in global history. John Lithgow as Churchill was fantastic, as you'll have noted. Season 2 is a little more streamlined but I preferred the story-telling in S1.

I'm not sure if it's been brought up, by 'Happy' is my guilty-pleasure. Creatively, it's basically every idea I've ever had in a nut-shell (ex-cop-turned-hitman runs from the mob while hunting a serial kidnapper dressed like Santa Claus who has kidnapped his daughter... and he does so, with his daughter's imaginary 3D unicorn friend by his side...). Loved its wacky craziness that much that I went out and bought the original graphic novels as well. Worth checking out:

I said the same thing to my friend yesterday. It does feel a lot like True Detective season 2 in all the bad ways

What is Gomorah about ? Is it worth a watch ?

It's an Italian drama about organized crime in Naples, Italy.

And yes, it's one of the best shows I've seen in the past ten years. All three seasons thus far have been fantastic.

Evil genius..

Uh the guy is not smart. I don't know why everyone keeps talking about what a master manipulator the guy is because he's obviously full of shit. Obviously. "what a genius!" no.

They also all ended up in jail because they were a bunch of dumb fucks who couldn't keep their mouths shut. They kept taking shots at each other and then people started ratting each other out. Morons.
