New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Brockmire on IFC is another good comedy. I'm not sure it's on any streaming services. It's about an baseball announcer who tries to restart his career and has to go to the minors to do it.

A.P. Bio is really, really funny.

And Brockmire's first season is now on Hulu.

Last week's Archer had quite possibly the greatest line I've ever heard on any show ever.

"That idea would suck a dick just to cut in line to suck a bigger dick."

Finished an episode of 11.22.63

Found it somewhat entertaining, might give the rest of the series a shot

I know Westworld is supposed to leave you guessing and to mess with your mind, but is anyone else having trouble staying focused or following through the first two episodes of season 2?

I hope the shine hasn’t worn off but I definitely struggled through the last two weeks.

I absolutely loved the first season of Westworld, it was right up there with shows like Breaking Bad/The Wire/Band of brothers/True detective/GOT for me

But when I look at it objectively the new season has been pretty meh, not really exciting or particularly interesting the plot has been below average with some low quality writing compared to the first season, a shame because the first season was insane

Rain season 1 was excellent

I'm blown away by the Expanse though which I've just started watching: incredibly well done so far and they actually try to stay reasonable to physics

Yes it's about as grounded as you can get within the needs of the story. It's some of the best science fiction made since Battlestar

I can't get passed the first episode of rain. The kids are so fucking annoying, what happened early on pissed me off and I turned it off.

Can't recommend Fauda, the Israeli/Palestinian thriller on Netflix, enough. Just finished season 2 and it was awesome, a step up from the first. The best way I can describe it is like 10% the Wire and 90% 24, but it's a ton of awesome action and nonstop thrills.
