Her last dude.

Shes attractive, but if you're landing her you're in that league and you can get with other people that attractive. It's no longer that amazing.

And you can find 3 of her any time you go to your local gym. Doesn't mean she's not attractive.

Women like guys who are funny and confident. Funny often plays as confident so the two are intermingled.

Being ugly with a dumpy body is gonna limit a guy’s field significantly, but they’re not always looking for 10’s aesthetically.

Money definitely helps.

If a guy is funny, confident and has some kind of money, he’s to women what the most physically attractive women on Earth are to us. If the dude is physically attractive and a celebrity of some kind, it’s over. This is the fantasy dude for most women.

Rock stars are rarely extremely physically attractive and all of your girlfriends would rather fuck them instead of you.

Heidi Gardner may be the first fun y and attractive female snl cast member since inception

Sarah Silverman doesn't count

Started a re-watch of The Wire. Still amazed at how attached I am to all these characters fifteen years later.

I'm almost to the part where Omar testifies in season two, which is probably my favorite scene in the entire series.

It's the rare show that's even more timely now than when it was released. I can't believe all of the issues they brought up over a decade before they became a part of the public debate. Gotta feel like the reception would be completely different if the show was released now.

I finished The Umbrella Academy on Netflix. Definately worth watching. It's a good change of pace for the super hero genre. The story is well paced. It has the feel of the watchmen, just not as serious.

If this is the type of shows that will take the place of the Marvel shows on Netflix, I will be happy.

Show still got five seasons, which is pretty good for a show that basically no one watched when it first aired.

I think it's also one of those shows that really get better on a repeat viewing. My first viewing, I was having a hell of a time keeping all the characters straight. There were so many of them with so many intricate relationships to other characters. I imagine that's how non-readers probably feel watching Game of Thrones the first time. Everything clicked for me on the second viewing, and I noticed a ton of stuff I missed the first time through.

Hell, much like Arrested Development, I feel like I catch something small that I missed the previous times every time I re-watch.

Last of the Marvel Netflix shows cancelled, if anyone cares. Bye, Punisher. We hardly knew thee.

I think it's Disney getting all their ducks in a row to launch their streaming platform. They just hired a 'rick and morty' writer to write the Loki pilot

Yup. Sounds like Netflix wanted to make some quality of life changes, like dropping some shows from 13 to 10 episodes, but Marvel was fighting them on it, probably with no real incentive to work with Netflix on it, and so Netflix just said fuck it.

Why are they doing this?

1. They have their own content now, so they don’t want to pay for others content.
2. They had to pay a lot to get it from marvel. They used it to generate subscribers, but now they feel they can self sustain.
3. They’re looking at smaller comic book houses to reduce cost. Ala the umbrella project
4. They have the data on streams of the stuff, it’s not released to the public. It might not have been as cost effective as they thought?

Disney having their own streaming service had zero merit on it, Netflix owned the rights. Hulu talked about releasing new episodes for it, but they’d have to buy back the content from Netflix. Don’t forget Hulu is majority owned by Disney.

Another thing Netflix did if intentional was release all the Marvel content left fairly quickly. It kind of burnt out alot of people from the content. I still watch all of it but it seemed like more of a chore because I would have to push thru it so I wouldn't get behind.

It has gotten me less excite about Disney+. The umbrella academy was way more enjoyable for me to watch because I knew I wouldn't have to invest into it for future shows.
