Urban Meyer will be visiting Trey Smith at his home in Tennessee tonight.

He made a visit to Knoxville this weekend and is committing imminently.

Nobody seems to have a read on this, but he's a hometown Tennessee guy with his sister living and working in Knoxville. Tough pull.

Sister has to feel good about her job security over the next four years, though.

You would be correct. He had Meyer and Saban conduct their "in-home" visits at his school instead of at home with his parents which is like the football recruiting equivalent of being in the friend zone

Yeah, would've been nice to have him and I won't shit on a kid who decides to stay close to home, but hope he enjoys playing for a coach that didn't even recruit him in a year or two. While OSU and Bama are competing for National Titles he'll be blocking for some below average QB trying to lead the Vols to the Belk Bowl.
