Rate the last movie you saw

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I saw Man of La Mancha in an English class in college once. I remember this solely because Sophia Loren was in it.

Damn in this picture she looks like a slightly older Margot Robbie (Wolf Of Wall Street chick)

If Stomp counts as a musical, Stomp was really good. But nobody said shit.

Whole lotta people in here apparently haven't seen the best musical of all time.

I don't like any of the animated singing crap either.

Did like Shrek, Monster's Inc., and Up, though.

Because no singing.

This has gone from "Rate the last movie you saw" to "Why Jigo had a tormented childhood"

Speaking of musicals, my daughter wanted to see Les Miserables so I went. I knew it was a musical, but didn't know it was the kind where they sing every single line. Ugh. I've never been so glad for a movie to be over.

So pumped so many of us can agree that musicals suck!!!! I bet @Notorious loves musicals.

I know @Deezus is a huge fan of Jodie Foster's musical version of Contact.

Does this count as a musical? All Disney kids movies have a mix of songs and scripts because they're kids movies. I don't think this counts.

I liked the Lion King as a kid. I have no problems here.

Beauty and the Beast and almost all the other ones can fuck off, with the exception of "Under the Sea" from Little Mermaid, which I have always enjoyed and have memorized and sing to my kid.

Thankfully we moved off of that quickly and began focusing on Sophia Loren's luscious jubblies which I'd be happy to rehash.

The only musical that I truly loved was Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. Pretty much everything else I didn't care for.

Still not going to watch La La land because I hate musicals.

Like you, I hate musicals. Basically went to this as a favor and I really enjoyed it.

EDIT: I liked one other musical but because it was one of the oddest things I'd ever seen. Happiness of the Katakuris... It's a Japanese musical/horror/comedy with a little claymation thrown in. I'll be impressed if anyone else has seen it. Takashi Miike directed it, aka the guy that did Audition and Ichi the Killer.

If Rocky Horror Picture Show counts as a musical then I guess I like a musical. In fact...I LOVE that. One of my favorite movies of all time.

But I am also huge on Halloween.

I have seen both Audition and Ichi and dug both. Have not seen Happiness of Katakuris though and probably won't. Sounds too obscure. Too much effort to find it.

Does Purple Rain count as a musical?
