I'm aware they'd never change.

I just recently got interested in pitching mechanics.

I've honestly never watched his mechanics close enough to see if their could be anyway to increase speed while keeping his control. He has always been throwing as hard as he does now even in the minors before his injuries. I would have guessed if there was a way they would have tried it by now at one time especially since they did try to switch him to the bullpen in the minors. Now as he gets older/no longer is a starter, that's maybe when they may try a modification.

He is known for this so if he stays course and relaxes then be ready for many Parrot trots. I feel EE is finally getting his mind right. Good sign seeing him smiling and basically hit that homer like he needed a cold beer.

I think a lot of the guys are relaxing a bit as well. The last few games have been much better, since they were 8 for 34 with RISP in the Tigers series and 5 for 15 so far with RISP in the Twins series so that makes last 5 games .265 AVG with RISP instead of .153 with RISP the whole first three series combined. I know thats not exactly making the world go on fire but it will help relax them. I mean they are hitting .311 in the last 5 games as well. They are looking much better at the plate.
