That is correct. Judging by his statistical performance, they should actually be giving us 1.15 runs for every 9 innings Allen pitches.

Those runs weren't completely Tomlin's fault either though. He pitches to contact and if the players don't make the plays/the balls find spots where players aren't, runs score.

One dumpster fire for another, no thanks. One throws everything over the middle of the plate, the other can't find it. Not really impressed with either fwiw.

A little bad luck defense, but let's see if he can string together some solid outs to lower that ERA. If it's another 2 or 3 run inning then that's troubling, I don't care if it's April or not, if he's not getting the job done then he needs to go out for a few starts to collect his thoughts and work on his mechanics.

He is looking solid otherwise today so let's see how deep/how well he does when they see him the 2nd/3rd time through
