Wow game thread already dead and only 13 games into the season...

Yeah, I was watching the Cavs. Honestly forgot the Indians were on.

I also have to be up at about 345 am.

Stopped following after the 2nd inning and thought Salazar was going to get rocked.

Talk about settling down.

Yeah, guy has been struggling a bit the first time through the order then he just sort of "figures it out."

Stupid small sample size, but could that be the norm this season or just one of those early weird things?

It was Shaw's fault Salazar allowed the run, by the way.

Actually it is quite common with starting pitchers to struggle the first time through. Tomlin is actually been bad with the 3rd time through rather than the first normally so every pitcher is different, but most starters you want to get to them early so they never settle in

Cody Allen is currently averaging over 20 K/9, with a career low BB%, and a BABIP of .636

All of which are contributing to his -1.15 FIP

Stats can be so strange at times especially so early in the season. If he can keep up that 20 k/9 then we are golden though

The K rate will come down, the BABIP will plummet, but here's to hoping the BB% stays at a career low.

I agree with that hope his BB% stays low. He's never been perfect with keeping guys off base, so hopefully he keeps that down.
