The New York Knicks Trash Fire Thread!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dolan: "Charles should've never made it to his seats that day."

Dolan said he didn't know the game was on national TV.

Lol say what?!?!?!?!?!

Dolan said he won't fire Phil Jackson. He wants to honor the agreement with Phil.

Dolan also said he will opt into his contract and not opt out.

Dolan also said he gave Phil COMPLETE CONTROL of basketball operations.

I mean, at some point if it gets bad enough I suppose the league will step in, but as it seems right now it just looks like two bad people holding each other up. I'm not saying they won't be able to turn it around eventually but I have a feeling New York fans have a righteous fucker of a season or two coming their way. It's not going to be pretty.

I guess this is an unpopular opinion, but every time I hear about Oakley it's super aggro and violence related..

Was there any credence to the drug abuse claim or was that a joke?

Yea, he talked about recently getting jumped in Vegas.

I'm sorry, but trouble just doesn't follow someone around like this......you gotta be naive to think he's not causing a good portion of it.

Say what??

They fired head of security today or yesterday. Apparently Oakley was already banned, or so Dolan says, from MSG, and shouldn't have been allowed in.

I'm not surprised that Dolan will both publicly blame Phil and yet refuse to fire him. The exact same thing happened with Isiah Thomas. A dozen firable signings and a very public sexual asault trial still weren't enough for Dolan to fire Isiah. Even after he finally let Thomas go, he still kept him as a consultant. I still wonder if Thomas had some sort of compromising pictures of Dolan cuz his never-ending influence with the organization makes no sense.
