2011 NBA Playoffs Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This wouldn't be so hard to stomach if I thought Miami was the best team in the NBA.

But in all honesty, what else could possibly have gone right for them this year in the post-season?

Boston trades Perkins
Rondo gets hurt
Chicago just absolutely blows games 4 and 5
LAL decides to mail in the season
Spurs lose in the 1st round
OKC can't get past Dallas

This is honestly like the anti-Cleveland run we're seeing. Every damn domino has fallen down for Miami.

And now they get to play Dallas in the finals? Whose starting lineup features guy ages 38, 33, 32, 30 and 28?

It's surreal.
Well, on the bright side DAL closed out their series a day early and the finals don't start til Tuesday so the rest should help.

Ramon is the one with 38 games started. Num nuts.
haha yeah, forgot to black that part out...

This is so embarrassing for us Cleveland fans. Now we gotta listen to all the people talking about how he made the right decision, and how our owner is a dumbass for shooting his mouth off a year ago. DAMN IT.

This is a truly sickening feeling. And it was a train wreck of a game. The officiating was blatantly favoring the Heat. It was painfully obvious. The calls kept those assholes in the game long enough to finally come back. The refs truly were the straw that broke the camels back - and sure enough, the Bulls folded.

The NBA is the new WWE. Just a damn shame.

Meh we knew this was going to happen. At this rate for all of us just get ready to see Lebron hoisting the Larry O' Brien trophy kind of like how we knew he was leaving after game five. Whenever the sun shines on Cleveland on any sport it will make victory that much sweeter considering all of the shit we've had to deal with.

Worry not, friends. There is a large discrepancy many are missing about Miami's previous opponent and the one they are about to encounter:

Chicago hadn't hit an open shot the entire playoffs. Specifically its role players. Dallas? They have yet to miss. The Mavs are on a tear and own all of the momentum. If both of these teams stay hot, advantage Dallas.

If I'm Miami, I'm concerned. You are running into the wrong team at the wrong time. They are also playoff tested.

Biggest problem for Dallas is their best offensive wings Peja and Terry arent the best defenders and their best defenders Marion and Stevenson arent the best scorers. The Dallas centers aren't post up threats. And the Mavs had all types of trouble keeping James Harden out of the paint.

All in all both teams have there worries and it'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

The people that think Gilbert made a mistake by rallying his fans are idiots. It was Gilbert making that statement that helped me through the decision.

I don't think anyone can say he didn't make the right decision.. They're in the finals.

Honestly, who fucking cares? LeBron was going to win a title within the next 3 years regardless and people were going to say that shit whether it's 2 weeks from now or 2 years from now.

Does it suck? Hell yeah it does. There's nothing we can do about it now though. It's clear he had both feet out the door last season and didn't have the patience to try and make things work here. We'll always know the real story. The national media can go fuck themselves for all I care.

Can't say I would disagree with those people that say our owner is a dumbass for running his mouth...

Who's guarding the douche and Wade?

After the way the referees favored the Heat, Do you guys still think that the Heat Vs the Mavericks will be a fair contest ? Come on man ... ur all bttr than that !

You would be surprised by how many non native Clevelanders were pissed at Lebron for doing what he did. He's not liked by the country. You have some dick riders, Miami natives and over seas fans but the majority of the USA hate the fucker.

Not only is he getting a title this year, but if he continues playing the way he has this post season he will be the Finals MVP as well. That is going to be a hard one to swallow, as I had always hoped that even if he won a title maybe D-Wade would be the one collecting that trophy just to take the shine off a little.

I can already see Lebron holding up the Larry O'brien and Finals MVP trophies and asking Dan Gilbert how his ass tastes. Part of me thinks he is going to take the high road, but the other part of me thinks he has every intention of rubbing Dan's face in it until it hurts because of the Letter.

It won't be Cleveland fans I see him taunting, but I fully expect him to doing his best to humiliate and make Dan Gilbert look like a clown when he has the chance.

No most of the letter or whatever was fine, i just didn't like the fact he said we would win one before him, because clearly we weren't and most press and others thought he was being serious.

Chicago not only lost but refused to break Lebrons knee cap. I blame Boozer. He could of did something in this series.
