2011 NBA Playoffs Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No most of the letter or whatever was fine, i just didn't like the fact he said we would win one before him, because clearly we weren't and most press and others thought he was being serious.

That was my only problem with it too. It is one thing to rally the fans, try to keep them interested so you can sell tickets, but you can't make guarantees that are not going to be delivered.

Im not so angry at LeBron winning the championship. Im more angry a the referees for giving the heat BJ's. As such the competition was nonexistent; Do the referees really need to make one sided calls to completely neutralize any little resistance that was put up ?

I do hope D Wade injures a shoulder or blows his knees, just so he knows the pain he put Rondo through.

Chicago not only lost but refused to break Lebrons knee cap. I blame Boozer. He could of did something in this series.

Chicago is never going to win a championship with Boozer in their team. I guarantee it.

Meh we knew this was going to happen. At this rate for all of us just get ready to see Lebron hoisting the Larry O' Brien trophy kind of like how we knew he was leaving after game five. Whenever the sun shines on Cleveland on any sport it will make victory that much sweeter considering all of the shit we've had to deal with.

I think the biggest concern is never getting to see the sun shine on Cleveland... I've been waiting 39 years...

It's funny because Akron can give a shit about that dude. He's South Beach now, not Akron.

After the way the referees favored the Heat, Do you guys still think that the Heat Vs the Mavericks will be a fair contest ? Come on man ... ur all bttr than that !

I'm sure the refs will behave the same as they did 6 years ago...

Windy is talking about how Riley "didn't think it would come together this fast," and they are kind of surprised that a non-finished product is on the verge of a title.

I want to puke.

HOly lord. The woe is me attitude coming from my fellow Cleveland fans is sad. Man up, people. Life will go on.

Anyway, Rose is a good player. One day he might be great. But that last three minutes was one of the greatest choke jobs by a single player in NBA history.

Just in case you missed it, Derrick Rose single-handedly lost that game in the final 3 minutes. Here is a run-down of what he did.

-Turns the ball over to Wade

-Proceeds to foul Wade on the lay-up attempt and give up and and-1 chance

-Fouls Wade on a 3-pointer and gives up another and-1

-Turns the ball over while trying to pass to a wide open Kurt Thomas. This led to the LBJ jumper for the Miami lead

-Misses a FT that would have tied the game

Folks, put CJ Watson in those last 3 minutes, and the Bulls win that game. Thats how unbelievably bad Rose was in those last 3.

Everyone saying he's the only guy on the Bulls who can create while Miami has 3...no, Miami has 3 and Chicago has 0 at this point. Rose is not a good enough number 1 option. Hell, I'm not sure if Westbrook was on this team and got to be the number 1 option if he doesn't end up being a better player. As a matter of fact, I'd bet money it.

Oh, and while the refs didn't have anything to do with the last 3 minutes, Miami once again made more FTs than Chicago shot.

And I can't let this Rose thing go. He followed up his stellar 8-27 with an even better 9-29. Do you guys realize if he plays just SLIGHTLY BELOW par, as opposed to sucking like a hoover vacuum, the Bulls are up 3-2 right now? And before people say he's the only guy who can do this and that, I'm telling you let Luol Deng shoot 29 times a game and I bet he can get you 25

It's funny because Akron can give a shit about that dude. He's South Beach now, not Akron.

haha. Not according to the Natl media. Eeverybody in Akron Loves this guy.

Wish they would take some cameras to the streets of Akron like they did in Cleveland and put it on ESPN. The reactions would be the same

If the refs screw the Mavs over again Mark Cuban is going to make David Stern quit his job. Cuban and Gilbert will take over the NBA and it would be the greatest thing ever. There is no way in hell Cuban is going to allow Stern and the NBA to get away with that without throwing them under the bus. With the help of Dan Gilbert they will demolish Stern and build the league back up the way it should be. Dallas vs Cleveland Finals every year and they rotate championships. Lol.

Jesus Christ. He said we would win one before they did meaning he didnt think they would get it and he had every confidence in his organization.

the point was lebron left to get a ring and gilbert was saying he could of got one here. who cares. the letter represented the fans and ownership fruustration over the last two years. it was vented and none.

it doesnt change anything. Cavs will still need to put together a team that can get past Miami to reach a championship.
whether Miami wins one this year or not doesnt fuckin matter.

as a fan im far more embarrased about the fans that just want to watch the organization they root for suck ass and not even think about competing for anything so they can say wait til next year for a decade.

worrying about good players being signed for too much moneys. its ridiculous. the cavs have 2 contracts over 10 million one is expiring the other is two years. Dallas has 4 guys. hell memphis will have 5. we can take on a salary and win and keep flexibility for all the guys fretting over every salary cap dollar.

blah now im going off on tangets. ill be back when someone post something about the actual playoffs and not some dear john letter.

the attitude and defiance, determination raw emotion and ambition andthe resulting new organization philopshy that came with it as well as the following introspection was fantastic and I wouldnt have Gilbert change a single word

Who's guarding the douche and Wade?

I'm hoping Marion can hold his own against bitch; and would not be surprised to see Kidd check Wade. Both are much slower, much older, and not as strong... But you never know...

It's pretty interesting that Wade was their go-to guy in crunch time during the reg season, yet it was LeBron closing out the last game in the second and third rounds. He almost outscored BOS by himself in the 4Q of G5 and tonight he outscored Chicago in the final 4.5min.

^^ I'm drunk as hell, but this reads like the ramblings of a tard.

edit: meant for tardicade
