It's not denial. We were 7-8 games up on the Tigers at one point. Now we are 2 back. That is a 10 game jump. If both teams keep playing how they have the past two months, we could easily be 10 games back at the end of the season.

If both teams keep playing like they did the past two months, they would.

Of course, expecting teams to stay consistent in their play over a two month stretch is pretty dumb.

And nowhere is that more evident than Cleveland.

The Indians play was pretty consistent the last few years

Indians played good for 2 months. They have played bad for 2 seasons + 2 months. You tell me which is more likely to happen the rest of the year.

Yeah, because this is the same roster in the same situation as those other teams. Unless you're trotting out the same roster, previous success means nothing. Hell we don't even have the same manager.
 
Can't discount the injuries that have plagued this team...

Any time you have a good bullpen, you have a chance... Considering how up-and-down bullpens are, when you have a good bullpen you go for it..

Absolutely. But you have to at least score 4 runs to have a realistic chance to win games, something that has been beyond challenging for our offense as of late.
 
The Indians havent lost since they got Fukedome!!!!!

Considering 70 percent of the team wasn't even here two years ago...why does this even matter?
