Cleveland Indians Game Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yeah because Francis is so dominant. Way to treat this guy like he's CC, Manny. This is what happens when you platoon, right?

You know with the Browns not getting better and passing on guys in FA, and the Indians sending out this fucking joke of a 9 man lineup, I think Im ready to jump off of the 480 bridge.

2011 Batting Average against left handed pitching:

Carrera .182
Chisenhall .125

Compared to...

Marson: .362
Hannahan: .304
Cabrera: .271
Kearns: .246

Lonnie and Eze are both essentially automatic outs at this point against left handed pitching. The argument could be made that Kipnis should be playing, but Orlando's only value at this point is against left handed pitching.

Slap in the face for the fans going to see a ballgame tonight. Have fun with the Rock n blast, it will be your only entertainment for the night.

I started to get pissed over the line up but then I remembered we are playing the Royals

So the Indians are running platoons across the diamond then?

You people are all on drugs or something.

Jeff Francis blows - the lineup is irrelevant to the fact that this guy sucks.

Domination tonight.
Domination tomorrow.
Domination Sunday.

So Francis having a 3-11 record with a 4.65 ERA and 1.37 WHIP scares Acta into benching his better players? Why even call them up, I can understand if its Cliff Lee or CC, but for joke's sake its Jeff freaking Francis.

I don't understand your logic. If you're scared you DON'T bench your "starters" - if you think you can win with a defensive lineup and give some guys a rest AND still win, you put this lineup out there.

I don't understand giving young players rest after a day off.

Orlando is not valuable against any pitching. A couple weeks ago people were arguing he should be used against lefties because his average was above .300. I guaranteed it would come down and it just a few games its already .271 and look for that number to continue to fall

I dont understand trading for an outfielder who has a very very good obp, but yet we have him hitting sixth with straight ass hitting behind him. At least have him hitting somewhere in the lineup were there is a possibility of him being hit in.

Take out a 50 million dollar life insurance policy and name the Indians as beneficiaries first please.

I think it has to do more with the numbers game than anything. Its when Acta would rest our top hitters on the same day, I would question him.
